Hey ash and team!! I’d really like to genuinely say thank you.. you guys have helped so so much, I live in north east Vic.. Beechworth, Eldorado, reedy creek.. I bought the gold monster and found a heck of a lot of 200 year old nails, but after watching your videos you have helped me dial in the monster, and I appreciate it alot!! Heading out first light! Thanks guys! Keep it up!
Thanks Dan, I appreciate the feedback and so glad we have helped you dial the monster in 🤙 Goodluck out there mate Jump on and join our Facebook page, if you ever need help or advise whisltnyour out and about Shoot me a message on there 🤙 Goodluck and Keep Hammering
Gday hammers , ash how’s things. The pew pew alien gun signal the gm throws on a consistent swing ,can be gold embedded in heavy mineralisation (hot rocks) or just a hot rock) but dig them all pay no attention to the precious metal gauge left to right bar on screen it’s hit and miss on those deeper targets in hot ground . 30% of the rocks i hang on to after crushing and panning I’ve found gold in , cheers guys great vid and still waiting for next one ✌️ keep hammering
that is so neat. i just bought the ML GM 1000. i'm still learning this after owning the Garret ACE to AT PRO. from Garrett pulsa to VLF is going take new learning. this video helped me to discriminate the iron and non-ferrous sound. thanks for your time. i'm living about 70 miles from the gold country.
Got a gold monster 1000 today! Heading to the Triangle next week, got two goals. One, enjoy my time with serenity. Two, say I found gold thanks to keep hammering 👍
@@jsprospecting6673 gday mate awesome can't wait to see it 🤘 thats a hard one the nox is a great detector is good for beaches, parks, relic and coin chasing and works well in the goldfields too, the frequency is different so it will find larger gold but it won't find stuff as small as the GM. If gold is all he wants to chase then I'd recommend the GM But both are good machines in there own right 🤘
All good stuff brother.I am sure that your tips will help many. Thanks for sharing. I subbed to you. Is that a Dragon Touch camera on the detector stem?😎😎⛏⛏🔥🔥
@@Deadly_Derka that i can't help anyone with, you would have to go off the bar and dig every repetitive target according to the discrimination meter at the top 🤔
Here I am watching over vids I’ve already seen cos I’m hang’n for a hammering. Not the true Aussie meaning, of course, but the keep Hammering one. I love the work you guys put into your vids. Down to earth, no fancy filmography like movie stuff, but true this is us out here for you and of course for gold vid! Regards, Mario.
years ago when i was right into detecting, a group we went out with hunting in the chewton area - found a nugget the size of your fist that was already dug out beside a hole - it was caked, looked and sounded like a hot rock - so the poor bugger before him must of thought it was a hot rock and left it when he dug it out lol
Would you recommend the GM 1000 for detecting over in the West? I am told that the ground over there isnt conjucive for this machine. Is that your experience? I am going over there sometime in the next few months and want to take a decent but cheapish detector with me. Can you recommend a particular one for me.
Yes so in the area they used a stamp mill which pounded the host rock and crushed it so the heavies ie the gold was left below the rubble, So the gold here is generally smaller and flat, wafer pieces
Gday mate, yeah it is hey, early days we had a bad setup But all our recent videos should all be fixed and higher quality 🤘 Sorry about that But thanks for your support
Just a quick on I just got a gold monster partly because of you lol As you would went straight to the real deal I have a pice of gold about 14mm x8mm and maybe.8mm it’s big and flat think it .3G The gold monster hardly picks it up. Do you think it’s to big, I take it with me and just drop it to see what sounds it makes 95% of the time it won’t pick it up And when it’s maybe 50mm deep it doesn’t exist

I am going to buy my brother either of these detectors which is better gold monster 1000 or Equinox 800 for gold prospecting

Spot on info mate, how I use it to find gold.
It would be good to see you dig the targets and see the gold.
Good tips and good work on the video.
Thanks Derek 🤘
Here’s a challenge for a future video: if you were deaf how would determine if it was hot rock rock or not? 🤨
@@Deadly_Derka that i can't help anyone with, you would have to go off the bar and dig every repetitive target according to the discrimination meter at the top 🤔
Keep Hammering Prospecting guess so, or have a magnet

Good stuff Scotty 💪
thanks Ash and the guys for another great informative video.I have just acquired a gm and will be keen to get out to try it.
Thanks Doug 🤘 goodluck out there mate
What's the advantage of using the small round coil as opposed to larger coil that the monster has?
Miners rights? That's in all Australia?
Figures. (Damn Nanny/Police State Australia has become)
Thanks for the tips mate.
No not in all states but then again they have very different laws when it comes to fossicking.
Awesome video Ash Laura and Kobi you make it look so easy. What kinda Boots are you wearing Ash wouldn't mind getting a pair myself
Gday Mate, there just Mongrel work boots and yep they are steel cap 🤣
Good

I am going over there sometime in the next few months and want to take a decent but cheapish detector with me. Can you recommend a particular one for me.
G'day mate,
Not in the west for the best Starting point we would recommend a PI machine the SDC2300 👌
Those stands look handy. I'm not on Facebook though, any idea where I could order one?
Any idea how the gold got there scattered like that? Is it rough or smooth? Mostly small pickers?
Yes so in the area they used a stamp mill which pounded the host rock and crushed it so the heavies ie the gold was left below the rubble,
So the gold here is generally smaller and flat, wafer pieces
👍👍👍👍
when ground pounder users leave holes (GPZ-7000) its like a crater!
Does it go deep . Or just for surface fines
Hi
Can used for coins or only gold?
Easy ground to work compared to WA goldfields
That it would be,
Keen to head that way with the gpx 🤘
Where abouts is that bro ?
Victoria?
Yeah mate down here in Vic 👌
Great info but please, please work on the audio....it’s horrible.
Gday mate, yeah it is hey, early days we had a bad setup
But all our recent videos should all be fixed and higher quality 🤘
Sorry about that
But thanks for your support
It's fine. 😕
Damn man, buy that girl some knee protectors!
She's a champ
Trust me I've offered 🤣

All that bleeping in the backgorund is very distracting
Nearly unusable in the west.
The other coil works way better for hot/mineralised ground.
