About Married with Children:
The less-than-lovable Bundys are a radical departure from the saccharine-sweet TV families popular since the days of Father Knows Best. With offbeat humor and unflinching honesty, Married... paints a more realistic picture of middle-class existence, warts and all. Al Bundy (Ed O'Neill) is a shoe salesman who is fond of frequently reliving his doubtful 15 seconds of fame on the football field. Al is terrified of the all-too-frequent amorous advances of his ditsy wife Peggy (Katey Sagal), who spends most of Al's wages at the salon and the mall. They have two teenage kids: stunning but superficial party animal Kelly (Christina Applegate) and egocentric Bud (David Faustino). Married for 16 semi-blissful years, Peggy and Al have found that the secret to a happy marriage is to accept one another's idiosyncrasies.

"You sure it's not because of men with harpoons?"
😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
“ Well I’ve only been here once.” “The usual table Mrs. Bundy.” 😂 Man I love this damn show.
If Casablanca were a tv show…
Marcy looks so cute in the first seasons, so pure and innocent
“Marcy, he’s undressing me with his eyes!”
“Madame, that would take years.”
🤣
XD
Madam, that would take years. He has learned well from Sensei Al on the art of the insult.
Steve was a much better character than Jefferson in some ways.
🤣🤣🤣 Yes. Grasshoppa has learned well.
This show is where tv needs to be again
Loved the Marcy character in the first 3 seasons. She was very cute & witty. She sorta had that innocent & unassuming Sally Field personna about her.
She became more bossy and less relatable, which actually worked for the Steve-Jefferson transition. But yes, she morphed.
It was “okay” early on before she took Katey Segals role as the main antagonist later on and became the masculine feminist always ruining Al’s life. But I agree I prefer her character in earlier seasons
the man hating, sex crazed feminist Marcy was way more entertaining. her feud with Al was some of the funniest parts of the show
@@billslocum9819 She got confidence you are crying
@@markusaurelius7299 anybody can have any character not only such that tell men they are gods for doing nothing all day
I love when Steve and Al finally got along and become best friends.
Steve is kind of corney and has very little personality
I don't understand why people don't like Steve.
@@thomaslucas6079 are you wrong
@@thomaslucas6079 Steve got plenty of personality trait. It's just not the in-your-face personality Jefferson and Al have.
@@Zodroo_Tint Jefferson was just kind of a one-note pretty boy, whereas Steve had layers and a bit of depth.
Peggy is hilarious, she flapped her wings when she got on stage lmao!
HA HA HA! ''He's undressing me with his eyes!''. ''Madam, that could take years!''!
1:39 I did not expect that reply.😂
Also this show answer a lot of social issue that people seems to forget nowadays.
I remember this back-in-the-day... back when TV was actually good...
When no one got offended.
I'm glad I was born in 87 and grew up watching 'Married with Children' in the 90s, and yes TV was actually good back then. TV is crap nowadays. I stop watching TV and the news a long time ago like around 2008.
I mean no one watches TV now anyway. Who needs it when you have the internet.
OK boomer!
...
couldn't resist :)
I mean, isn't that what our parents said about shows like Married with Children?
@@dm95422 actually many people got offended, look up Terry Rakolta.
I bet this is the place where Marcy met Jefferson 😜😆
That... does make sense
😂😂😂🇷🇺
I thought they met at Marcy's bank.
"Madam, that would take years." 😅🤣🤣
If Futurama had a similar scene, Leela would be kicking male stripper's balls while Fry would be acting scared and confused like Marcy.
This show pointed out *all* of the hypocrisies people are still whining about today.
The next scene when marcey lost her wedding ring was one of the funniest scene ever on any TV show
I love how they turned Marcy out at the strip club- until she loses her wedding ring down Zorro's pants!
LMAO at Steve's response to that post-walled lady accusing him or undressing her though his eyes!
top to bottom friend, no second takes!
Women can be ridiculous, he didn't look her up and down.
Peggy has Troy's, Al has the Jiggly Room.
"And I don't want you thinking about Troys either..."
Remember, she was only generously tipping the dancers and the staff because it was Al's money.@@JohnMichael-vy6hp
I just realized how good we got it back in the day. Everything on TV seems so lame now.
"Peggy, why did you put a dollar bill in his g-string? Because my checkbook won't fit!"
I want to pay attention to the scene but I can't stop thinking about the open, empty fridge at 0:50
LOL
It's okay it's lore friendly.
The female version of the Jiggly Room, fair enough. 😁😁😁
Oh god I love 80s!
It's funny that a concerned father didn't do nationwide protest over this episode.. 🤔
Exactly!
3:04 "OK. So I've been here once. But I tipped well." - Peggy Bundy
Maybe this is why Al is always broke, his wife keeps spending it on "bills" lol
Usual table, Mrs. Bundy?
Peggy is so understanding of an uncomfortable friend at a male strip joint LOL.
They don't make shows like this anymore.
Good
I can see why, nothing ever was funny, cheep acting
@@johnpoche8366 how you comentary poor
Women feels sexually harassed -> Women go to Troy's. Typical.
That's the key people, if the misses is happy your marriage is happy. As long as there's no touching it's fine. :-)
Can anyone tell me the name of the song that plays when Marcy is dancing with zorro??
I've been wondering that for years myself.
funny married with children can bring out the double standards in society.the woman complains about "whistling at her" and accuses steve of him mentally dressing her and yet goes to troys lol
Hypocritical bishes are all the same! Yeah my ex-wife left me for a stripper that why im so pi ssed off.
And it's the same today!
The male strippers give their consent to be viewed as sex objects, so invalid comparison.
The yin and yang of Married with Children.
Lost your ring down Zorro's pants,eh?
"He's undressing me with his eyes"
Said every feminist ever 😆
And of course it's always the fat ugly ones
“Madam that would take years”
Steve always the savage boss Jefferson couldn’t and wouldn’t compete in my opinion
@@nascarfan88ta and the ones with colorful short hair
Why is she worried? Pretty fair odds she looks better in the fantasy.
And I would pluck my eyes out.....
Wonderfully funny! Shame we lost the idea of what makes comedy funny.
Boomer humor is no longer fashionable.
This show is actually more Educational and a show about Reality (human traits and characters) than today's reality/politically correct shows.
Replace show on the end of that line, with 'Bullshit'. Your comment would then be perfect. Lol
Dude, yes, both Al and Peggy take jabs at each other but they are always loaded with truths. Nowadays shows are too preachy which would be fine if they weren't pretentious and rigid
back then I had a crush on Marcy. So cute and innocent.
She looked good up until season 4.
You don’t have the type of plumbing she likes.
I worked at Troy's. Peggy & Marcy were eyeballing me. 😂😂😂
The look on Marcy's face
Poor Marcy!😂🤣😂
Good to see Steve with a well deserved Zinger...
I worked with the #chippendales back in the day #90s 💪🏼🤠 the good old days
Let me guess, you were their choreographer....
This cut off the best part. Marcy really gets into it later.
that he wasnt screaming in horror was proof he wasnt undressing her with his eyes
What song does Zoro and Marcy dance to? It doesn't show the clip here. It was a woman singer saying your pushing me out of your mind I think?
That's a goods stuff 👌 👏 🙌 👍 😄 😉 ❤🥀🌹💙🔥💪😍
Hi Mrs Bundy 🤣🤣
When a woman suddenly gets up on stage its not a threat but if a guy does this, then security has to be there to protect the woman! haha
Obviously both actors love these scripts, you see Ed love the nudy bars shows and Katey Segal seems to be having a blast on this episode.
"Strawberry fanny-bangers" lmao Wow
How you doing Big Red?
Al might be quick but he must be good at what he does.
I enjoyed that. Like they say, when women go to a strip club they go to have fun; when men go, it's for serious business.
Magic Mike of the 90s, haha !
80s
You don’t get this on the Cosby Show. 😂
At least not on set, and not while it's being filmed 😉
This one of favorite episode 😅😅😅
Anyone know the song playing when El zorro is stripping? I'm on the hunt I can't find it anywhere
I love it!!!🤣
I just remembered my cousin Bachelorette party 🤣🤣🤣 holy shit it was intense. Those strippermen were busy that night 🤣
Well, lifting drunken fatties off the floor IS a workout
3:24 In "Hind Sight", no wonder Marcy was not so happy being there at that time.
Shameful !! Marcy loses her wedding ring down some guy's... never mind.
I don't know why the feminists hate this show, there were tonnes of times the women got the better of the guys
The goal of feminism is to make men miserable, not to make women happy.
They hate everything. Especially women. They want people to be miserable and bitter like they are.
WHAT'S THE NAME OF THE BACKGROUND SONG IN THE MEAT MARKET?
3:15 I tip well
No bundy has that kind of money
I remember. Some of the. Episode es lol lol
???
Peggy with that laugh!!🤣🤣🤣
So funny at the end 😂😁...
He's undressing me with his eyes...... madam that would take years😄😁😆😅
Marcy’s lesbianism came through loud and clear in this episode
How?
Because she does not obey 100 the stupid men
Does anyone know the song that was playing in the background when Marcy was on stage with Zorro? It sounded like Donna Summer, but I don't recognize the song. It's possible it's not a real song and just something the producers came up with for the episode.
What's good for the goose is good for the gander. Lok
Rodrigo!!!
Wish we had that around here
Most likely you do but today only guys would go lol
Omg same
She's a lesbian all right.
U R NOT SUPPOSED TO HATE, ANYONE!!!
Peggy 🤣
LMFAO HOW YOU DOING BIG RED !!!! ROFL!!!!
Harpoons. So funny.
Lol
anyone with the song that zorro uses?
Magic Mike before Magic Mike
This is when tv was good now their would just be guys there
Where's the rest of it? The stripper sequence was a lot longer than that.
It definitely was longer. I do recall at one point Peg was getting a piggyback ride from one of the strippers, and of course Marcy loses her ring.
Even with a cream pie
What are the Chippendale dancers what are their names
OOH YEAH MY PARENTS KANE KEKE OUR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS REMEMBER THEM ALL FUNNY 😂 GREAT TV SERIES ACTION AND FUNNY 😂
💐
These sorts of joints would never make much money in real life. Women don't blow their money on strippers like us guys do.
That construction worker looks so yummy. Wow!
Madam, that would take years.
Al bundy is my hero!!!!!!!
If the woke brigade are offended ? ,they don’t have to watch it , simple 👍
0:13 Monty Python reference?
doesn't play
Just look at what they considered as Fat or overweight back then & look at today
They would be considered "average size" today.
I have a theory that Peg and or Marcy is actually the devil.
Peggy Bundy did a lot more that watch at this club, lol.
No
Oink oink, baby.
Hej Mette Frederiksen.
Who's that?
That character complaining about being objectified by men is like some women I've come across. They were the "my eyes are up here" t-shirt and it's disgusting for them to think anyone would staring at their chest.
