    Merging categories can make a huge difference. I've always been quite happy with my physical & mental health, the quality of my emotions and my "spirituality". They were 4 categories out of 10 and skewed my overall perception of my life.
    Now I merged them into one "Wellness" and I realized that the other categories were not going so well! I am more motivated to do something about my life :)

    I like the change to the eight categories instead of 10. I was think along the same lines, and it simplifies the goal setting as well. Thanks!

    thank again for an inspiring video! I have been putting of trying a level 10 spread simply because I dont like not having a rating system, but your video helped me get over that. I liked the idea of using it as a way to keep those catagories in the forefront of our minds. ♡

    I tried it but unfortunately, for me it's not realistic to only go up. Sometimes I'm less satisfied then before about one or two of the area's. I don't think I'm doing it wrong, it's just that I have a (very) limited amount of energy. So I simply can't work on all of it at the same time. Instead I set 2 big goals that I want to reach in the next 3 to 5 years. Everything else I get done is just extra. (I'm chronically ill so I'm used to prioritizing.)

    • @sarahtasko18
      @sarahtasko18 7 років тому +1

      dinaatjuh hey! Sound like a good idea. I'm chronically ill as well and have hardly any energy and while I think the bullet journal has been good to get me going on things I procrastinate on, I do need to draw the line and recognize when I'm spending too much energy on it. For instance I agree the level 10 life wouldn't be very practical for me. (plus depending on how I am feeling physically how I feel about life changes dramatically!) I'm curious how you deal with the whole pacing yourself thing??? . That's where I most struggle! I want to get things done so much quicker than I do and don't have the patience with myself to take 3 yrs to accomplish something, and I end up getting so down on myself. Sorry for the huge reply but I haven't met any other spoonies who are using the Bujo so I got excited! :)

    I tie my daily affirmations to my level 10 chart (one affirmation per area). Next I plan to set specific short- and long-term goals tied to each area. It's a very useful chart/tool!

    Great timing. I am just about to do my Level 10 life and this is so helpful. I def want to think carefully about my categories so they are most relevant to me. I am so excited to do my spread :)

    What I never understood is how you actually fill the spaces. Because these are not actually like, points on your to-do list, they are broad abstract goals in life. So what makes you actually fill them, how do I know I'm advancing in my "level 10 life" if there aren't specific things that I know I did that deserves to be coloured in.

    • @RuinedTemple
      @RuinedTemple 6 років тому +4

      I'd suggest thinking about what each of your life categories would look like if they were at a level 10 and write it all down, this will be what's called your Level 10 Vision. Then one at a time, make SMART goals to achieve each element to every Level 10 life category vision. Once you have all of your life goals written down, go in and break each one of those larger goals into smaller goals if you need to. Once you have broken them all down into manageable goals, look at each goal and break it down into "tasks" that you need to do in order to complete that goal. When finished, make check boxes next to each task, small (short term) goal, and large/life (long term) goal, and start knockin' 'em down, starting with the tasks in whatever category you'd like to tackle first. If you're not familiar with what SMART goals are, Google it to learn how to make them; it's not hard, just takes a little bit of your time, but you'll thank yourself for getting your shit in order and your goals, desires, and your life organized!
      Do your best to gauge where you feel you're currently at in each category and color in that many lines/bars in each category. After completing each task, take a glance at your graph to see if you want to color in any more space yet, or maybe you'd want to color it in after completing each short term goal, or you could just assess your graph at the end or beginning of each year and adjust the colored in areas based on how you feel about the goals you accomplished in the past year.

    I do have a level 10 life in my Bullet Journal as well, since I started using TMM, but I am also planning to rearrange categories, because some of them do not speak to me as they are now. So, work in progress :-) Great video as usual!

    I love your Level 10 Life. I use a personal size Filofax and I have bought in the past some inserts with this on it. Did not know what to do with them. Now I can use them.
    I am so looking forward to your updates in your Filofax. Some of your ideas I am going to test in my personal to see if it works for me.
    Thank you for sharing.

    What questions do you ask yourself to assess your "score" in your areas? I'd love to incorporate something like this, but I don't really know how I'd figure out which areas are doing well and which need more work, and it would likely just end up all being somewhere between 4-6 I'd think... Thank you!! :)

    I am really curious to see your experience with Bullet Journaling in the A5 Filofax Ring Binder! I had to leave ring bound for a while because it was just kind of driving me crazy lol (I became a Planner Addict and fell down into the rabbit hole so hard haha Ouch$$$! lol ) I had to go towards simplicity so I started doing a hybrid of moleskine planner and bullet journal. I am amazed with how perfectly this simple setup works for me! I love my ring bounds so I am really curious to hear your experience that is soon to come! Maybe I can balance the simplicity and the love for my ring bound collection. One thing I was curious about was how will you be archiving the A5 loose leaf inserts? Oh and have you ever tried Bullet Journaling in the Midori Travelor's Notebook?

    Hi Kara! Ever since I've found your channel, I've been watching all of your videos (maybe even more than once haha). I was wondering if you could make a video about your experiences with Miracle Morning and your morning routine? These Level 10 Life spreads is something I've always been ''jealous'' of, they look so good and they help you progress! But my problem always is that Im not sure if I put it in my journal if I'd be able to know how I'm feeling or how good I'm doing in order to fill in the levels...I know you said it's just a gut feeling but do you have any advice on that?
    Another awesome video as always! x

    I really like this modification, especially combining Friends/family and Marriage into relationships. I'm not married. I'm not in any kind of relationship. (Long story that I won't get into here. Nothing bad or traumatic, just personal circumstances.) I struggled with doing anything related to Level 10 because of an incomplete chart. I don't know why I didn't think to just merge those two and go from there.

    Based on your previous video recommendations, I have been doing the Miracle Morning most days of the week since August. LOVE it!! I followed your bujo page layout with Level 10 self-assessment and goals. However, I'm still struggling to narrow the focus and make it happen. I look over my page often but it's out of sight, out of mind for me. Do you choose one for a month or a week? Thanks :)

    • @Bohoberryshop
      @Bohoberryshop  7 років тому +3

      Lisa A I think the key to achieving goals is to constantly review them. The trick is to find a way to keep those goals at the forefront of your mind. For me, I'm constantly flipping through old pages in my Bullet Journal, so I'm always looking over my goals and seeing what I can act on on any given day. I wish there was a one-size-fits-all solution, but unfortunately you'll have to find one that works for you. I hope that helps a bit :)

    • @35ATeacher
      @35ATeacher 7 років тому

      Great! Thank you. I think I'm going to choose one goal for awhile and write small steps on my weekly pages to stay focused. I love your videos! Thanks for being such an inspiration.

    I'm having to make some major diet changes and I know I need to exercise more- I think this kind of tracker would be better for me than the daily. I know I won't keep up with the daily- but I will review it weekly and evaluate where I'm at....

    I did mine over the summer and was brutally honest and when I saw everything was below a three it became so overwhelming... I literally didn't know where to start so I ended up ignoring it and feeling awful. I really want to pick this up and set some realistic goals for next year... Any advice??
