I love to cook and try new dishes. I love when you show us different dishes because i will try to make my own. So once again, thank you very much for this wonderful video. You rock! Stay safe and keep it up.

Tijuana is also a growing cultural center and has been recognized as an important new cultural mecca. The city is the most visited border city in the world; sharing a border of about 24 km (15 mi) with its sister city San Diego. More than fifty million people cross the border between these two cities every year.

    • @ericktellez7632

Yes I realized that the city has changed a lot in the last 5 - 8 years, now you see every type of people in here, from Americans and foreigners, to a lot of asians and more black people usually from Haiti. Now its normal to hear Spanish, English, Creolle and even french from time to time in the city.

Mexico is the only country I know where restaurants open and close whenever they want. They also have the luxury of opening only a few hours and days. the reason is that sometimes the meals are already sold, long before opening. Because someone throws a last minute party and buys everything. Mexico is always partying. Every day of the week

@M J You are probably talking about restaurants in a tourist area or some small town that has set hours to close. Because in most of all of Mexico. Street food is the tastiest and cheapest. These businesses compete with restaurants with a la carte menu. and they are open 24 hours. You just have to see lights on and people eating. food is safe. Because the constant consumption of food. forces owners to never refrigerate food and cook another batch in 6 hours or so

I’m really surprised that people don’t know that Caesar salad came fro TJ. I was raised in Palm Desert we just to go to TJ every. Couple of months, the only diff I see is the garlic should be prepped at the table, not taken from a chopped up container, garlic has a natural heat that only come out when it’s really fresh. It is my favorite salad, so I make it from scratch every time. I come from a restaurant family so I’m really picky about ingredients…..

The bakery looks very enticing; did not know that place existed. My Tijuana trips are usually for the weekends only, so definitely will need to go there on a Thursday to try them out. Thank you for the gem!!!

Tacos and Tortas are the bomb!
Gareth should try the Tortas El Turco...they are made with beef loin(expensive here in the U.S.) The loin is brazed for hours in a chile salsa on a telera bun with lettuce, tomato and aguacate...it's delish!
Brings back memories of the delicious food in Tijuana!
      Gotta go back sometime soon!☺

The guy attending the tortas washmobile is the son of the original creators ( all are family of the original creators) the two famous creators RIP…they also have a very famous orchata water…there are about 5 washmobile tortas in tijuana, but the ones in la cacho área are the best…the open about 8 am and close about 1 pm…they always sell out…been going there for about 45 years now…

    Looks like some bomb food.
HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend a restaurant called “Sabor a mi” It’s located in Zona Rio. From now through September (when the season ends) the Chef can give you a detailed explanation of the fine art that goes into making Chiles Rellenos en Nogada. It’s a true Mexican emblematic dish. The work that goes into the dish is meticulous, unique and like no other.
Great video!! Have fun in Baja!

You didn't go to Yogurt Place in Playas! Super yummy and has been around forever. Their best menu item is the chilaquiles verdes!!! They make fresh juices and it's known as a healthier alternative. So, post tortas and car wash head over :) Great video!
