Hey, Miss Estruch
I'd like to inquire about the efficacy of utilising your A-level flashcards as the primary resource for both revision and content acquisition. Will it be enough, as I am thinking of purchasing the flashcards? In addition to that, I am employing the CGP Complete Revision Workbook and accessing online free resources such as Study Mind for supplementary practice questions and synoptic practice. As a private candidate studying 3 other A-levels, I am responsible for my own learning, so I need to ensure that I can make learning and revising content as easy as feasible. I would greatly appreciate any additional guidance or advice you could offer. Thank you in advance for your time and assistance. Also, I don't know if this is relevant or not, but I'll be sitting all my exams in summer of 2025.
Hello , I'm an international student which have tried Oxford ocr book and cgp .
The cgp is not detailed as the oxford one but on the other hand, oxford book is not simpelised as cgp and this makes it really hard to understand different topics and also my teacher in college actually has no experience in teaching Biology, in fact many things that she says are wrong based on the books .
All these reasons made me very nervous about my future and my Biology grades
If you can suggest any helpful way to improve myself in Biology I would be very grateful 🙏🏻❤️
Hi Miss Estruch, I just wanted to ask how do your OCR A Level notes differ from the powerpoints on your OCR A Level summary videos? And currently I have the OCR CGP revision guide - do you think actively learning from this in combination with exam questions is enough for an A* or would your notes be better to learn from? Thank you!
Hi, The OCR A summary videos give the overview, and my notes explain this all in more detail (but cover the same content as both cover the spec). I don't personally know the CGP revision guide, so couldn't comment, but i know many students find my flashcards a really helpful resources for active learning to complement the videos and notes they may have.
When i start reading biology, i get bored quickly.....
Some help
I got U recently (as and a2), and i want to pass now. How much can i get if i start studying again ? I am so confused rn mam
hi miss estruch, i'm wondering what the format of your flashcards are? are they exam question based with bullet point answers or theory information... i really want to buy them but i'm really picky on flashcard format :(((( is there a way we can get a preview (of like 1 card) just to see what they are like -- this could be the same for the active recall + notes!!!! thank you :D
nvm i just watched your revision resource video -- THANK UUUU
ahhh I was about to reply, glad you found it 😊
@@MissEstruchBiology i bought them last night and they are already so handy!!!
I am stuck on Es for Biology. Is it possible to do really well if I start revising now until June?
I had quite a few students DM on results day to say they managed to go from D/E to a B/A using my videos are resources. HOWEVER, this is usually quite rare and it is dependent on a student putting in a lot of consistent hard work.
I’m on a B/C now, is it possible to get an A* if I’m sitting my exams this June?
yeah that's absolutely possible with hard work and commitment!
Hi Miss Estruch, I am stuck on Es and Ds and Cs for biology. I’m in my first year, do you think it’s possible to get an a or a* for my a levels in 2025?
Thank you for all of your advices❤
Students have made that level of progress before, so it is possible, but not common. It takes a lot of consistent hard work,
Do you have a bundle offer to buy all of these by any chance? X
hey, yes I do! www.missestruch.co.uk/offers/cFSs7B3Q/checkout
Has anyone bought the AQA resources before? Are they all PDF?
Hey, yes they are all PDFs
@@MissEstruchBiology thank you! just bought the full set AQA
