awesome video and perfect timing i'm right in the middle of my mocks at the moment! i just wondered what percentage of the a level is pure knowledge rather than application or maths etc, and what percentage is based around practicals?

hey if you look at the AQA specification it's all outlined in the assessment weighting section. 40-45% is application, 15% practicals, 10% maths the rest knowledge

for me, i make a a3 poster on section that difficult to get a grip of-usually with diagrams& definitions, then i do lots of exam questions on that topic using the poster until i can visualise all of the information in my head

blurting is a good alternative or testing a each other in study pairs could be good

If I were you, use your specification for your subject and tick the core knowledge you already know, try searching for a student made specification specific checklist for your exam board for biology (I find that these really help) Then practise ALL exam questions you can get your hands on from physics and maths tutor for all the topics that will appear on your mock.
Assuming you've done other mocks like my college, analyse your mock exams exactly how miss Estruch has instructed and revise that way too.

When you’re learning new content, make your notes keep them forever. While you’re making them make sure you write them in your own words not just copy exact (unless they’re definitions) but also remember to include KEYWORDS as it’s crucial for the exam mark points. Before you start making notes read the spec points once, make notes, after notes read over spec points again to make sure your understand every point. Once you have understood what the topics is about WHOLE so what the whole point of it even existing is ( for example topic 3, is all about how molecules can move in different ways to reach a tissue that requires these molecules for processes. these molecules mostly being biological molecules(topic 1) and gas exchange chemicals o2 and co2). This is a short summary you should also be writing on the last page of your notes. After all of this which will take time, start exam questions immediately and you can use only for this. for the best long term memory build up after you’ve finished your notes just read over it starting from 3-5 times, if you read it everyday (in reality it will only take around 30 minutes to read the whole topic at first) this time will gradually decreased to 10 minutes as you’ll be reading it inside out and you will know it like your name. sounds easy and simple well it is just keep consistent.

anabolic is basically generating complex molecules using simpler molecules together with energy (ex: protein synthesis from amino acids)
