as someone who was actually there when this video was shot, i was thankful for the support. the trees you see in the distance at 0:57 i was about 50 yards to the right of them with a couple of other marines trying to evacuate one of fellow marines who was wounded right where i was at. most people don't understand what we do and how we deal with it until they actually experience for themselves

That was way cool and I'm a long-time subscriber to FUNKER530. In Vietnam we didn't have anything so powerful as far as hand-held rockets. Only M72 LAWs. They were pretty bad-ass for the time and did a good bit of damage to personnel. But I want to see a video titled "Aftermath of firing a Javelin at Taliban and the Damage done".

yeah thats a FGM-148 Javelin, it has two firing modes. 1 that fires the rocket at the target without the massive upwards climb known as Direct Fire and a fire mode that makes the rocket deploy the initial rocket charge then point upwards then fire the main charge and go up and drop on the target from above, known as Top Attack.
