James, I was surprised to hear that you were concerned about getting sunburned. Given the countless months you have spent at sea, I would’ve thought that you had become somewhat acclimated to it.
No one is tougher than the sun. When I am at sea if I have to be on deck for any length of time I usually wear a tech shirt and big hat.

You might not be a people person James but that is ehy we are loving you so muchfor demonstraing to anyone that watches your videos that anyone eho is determined to live their dream does not have to be a people person to do it .your wisdom shines through your honesty and frankness .

really excellent video as always, good to see ya being social, going to the back of the boat to look back, being that far away from your own vessel after quite some time now. excellent little adventure. I'm heading to the Philippines Tuesday May 16th and will be sailing in Subic bay, Palawan, and Boracay pretty soon. Going to be living this same life style while my wife visits home and show it all to my 19 month old son.

That was different. What a beautiful, beautiful island and it sure looked like a peaceful, wonderful day. Were those little sharks in the water? They come in really shallow which was great to get a really good look at them (or at least the one in your video).
It would be hard, I know, being an introvert on a small boat full of tourists, but worth every second of it in that adventure to the private island. Would have been so nice to stay a few days. Take care, and as always, Happy Sails!

The older I get the more "To Peopely" out there it is for me so I can definitely relate.
As beautiful as that was I would not have done well with the constant singing, I just really don't do well with things like that.
A few songs sure but the constant singing no matter how beautiful would drive me more insane than I already am.
I'd much rather hear God's amazing creation even if those voices are a part of it.
I guess I just really enjoy the peaceful or even at times violent sounds of nature.
Thanks for taking us a long on that little day trip, maybe next time see if the companies or any company running those different outing type of things would want to sponsor a video.
Who knows maybe you can land a few of them for basically free considering you were already going to video them for the channel anyway.

My partner and I were going to do this 14 years ago but life happens and is no longer an option. My partner had a vessel for 10 years in Marina Del Rey before the recession of 2008 hit. Yup, he lost her. 😭 Both of us are "allergic to people and crowds" as well. You may not realize how much your videos have a positive influence to folks like us. Well thanks for doing that! (its my personal idea of hell, keeps me from going on a cruise-ever) probably under an hour onboard. Im sure there are a lot of people appreciate you showing them stuff they can do , so that was very nice for a change. Did you drink the kava ? Ha. I WAS wondering how that starfish lost his whole leg, hungry shrimps? The glass bottom man had some good stories. Im glad the lunch was good, I was hoping it was potato salad & cole slaw. Im glad they grow cocoanut? palms there. I like their fabrics they make. Standing there, the panoramic view of that place must have been truly just gorgeous. Was that a beanbag chair under that cabana? Seems like a recipe for disaster eventually, maybe it was justa a cover. As always, Thank you so much.

So very Beautiful, quick question. When you were on the private island and you panned the camera showing the other islands, Clouds always seemed to be clumping over each island in the distance, a really cool effect. What causes that?
Landmasses always trap moisture and the lands heat helps create clouds

Do I think it was worth the money? Yes. I don’t tend to do things again, I would rather do new things.

My mama always said “never say never” but my lifestyle makes dating somewhat impossible since I am always moving and living in a small boat with almost no creature comforts is not very appealing to most ladies. I am also very cautious with my heart still after having it shattered when my wife left me abruptly.

It's the culture here in Fiji when people get together..... there's always singing and dancing...... You just have to be open minded to different cultures when traveling
Amen to that, I loved getting to hear them sing and to be exposed to different cultures ways of expressing joy
