It's just fascinating to me; how HUGE they are, how their plan of attack works, how they wait for the precise moment, how they work as a team & share meals, etc. Crocodiles are literally an incredible present-day link to the ancient, prehistoric world.

To be fair I feel like the method of execution for our factory farms is more humane than getting eaten alive. That being said, I’d rather have wild animals live free but dangerously short lives, and the reduction of cruelty in factory farming. That may never happen however, too many people in the world to feed. Moralizing animals is a difficult subject, I’m sure Mr. Crocodile would have no problem eating me alive too.

The thing I dislike about Crocs and Alligators is that they have so many freaking advantages. They have the strongest bite, they have body armor, stealth, swimmers, fast on land, can survive most droughts, hunt alone or in numbers, and will eat their own if they get hungry enough. They can even climb fences.
Only about 1% or crocodiles reach adulthood. 99% of the juveniles die from starvation or being the victim of another predator or adult crocodiles. They don’t have it easy either.

People are really hating on her for nothing other than being herself, and airing her honest opinions and feelings about what she was seeing. She was not doing a migration documentary, she was only there for the show and I'm quite certain that she had a good time.
I can't even imagine been so sheltered and not understanding the natural order of things. Every living creature on earth needs to eat in order to survive. Even vegans need to appreciate that those veggies they eat are only placed on their plates due to the hard work and sacrifice of others.

Something interesting about Nile crocodiles in particular, as shown in the video, is the fact that they are social, and they will indeed work together (which is rare as most crocodilians are solitary); Nile crocodiles are among the most social of all reptiles.

crocs are so smart. you can see by the formation how they line up across the river and pick which one gets closest to them by the river currents. kind of like a fishing net. in these river currents . you let the them come towards you .

crocs are so smart. you can see by the formation how they line up across the river and pick which one gets closest to them by the river currents. kind of like a fishing net. in these river currents . you let the them come towards you .
That is what they have evolved for millions of years to do. Otherwise they would have been extinct by now.
