With all the beauty I saw volunteering at Phinda in SA, I did not see the huge epic herds like this. Incredible!
After watching thousands of hours of Animals documentaries I concluded, this is the greatest scene to ever be recorded.
They cross yearly acc to season.
They usually cross since hundreds of years at easier spots.
Those wildebeests are forced by toursts agencies to cross at those dangerous places.....the animals are not stupid...they instinctly know the best and safe locations to cross over the river since ages ! ! ! !
It is because of the dozens, true ! ! !, of tourist-safari vehicles/jeeps watching by occupying the usual natural paths of those animals.
Forcing those poor animals to jump at cliffs etc. Forcing a cruel "epic" spectacle......
The aim is to get "safari" tourist positioned at the "best" spots to get the best video's to show at home ! ! ! !
Go see yourself at Masai Mara, at South Luangwa, Okavango...the number of safari vehicles is scaring animals and people ! ! ! !

The mother zebra that lost her baby at 4:22 to a crocodile, adopted a lone foal at 5:00, everything worked out.

If they cross it in group and making such a noise inside the water the crock will also fear to attack, to avoid being caught by the crock is important to go all at the same time they will not know which one to catch.

They travel from the two countries for greener Pasture in specific seasons
When it gets dry in one national park they migrate to return to the other.. and the process is repeated throughout the years

3:33 - ESP still not working
4:17 - yet another, but this time very brief attempt to enter land - FAILED
4:41 - problems with GPS
4:49 - not quite sure what he`s up to, actually...
5:01 - sketchy, but finally there after 1,5 minutes.
I even started to think, whether this is the real mommy, because I thought this mommy´s kiddo was taken at 4:23

The zebra at 5:00 lost her baby to the croc but met another baby that was stranded in the banks. Then both of them went away together.
