This may sound like a stupid question but I'm struggling with learning all the scientific terms with head and neck anatomy. For example regions of the head and all these different muscles. Do you reference these anatomy terms a lot in your everyday life with assisting.

Hey girl! I went to A dental assisting program but you don’t always need that! Some places take no experience. I would check out my “Top questions on becoming an Orthodontic assistant” or “How I became an Orthodontic Assistant” both would be of help! I don’t think anywhere in my state (Ohio) has specifically ortho assistant schooling. Some states may have a semester in in within their dental assisting

I do not! I have a septum ring and just put it up and hide it 😆

How much schooling did you have to do?
Dental assisting (2 years) but it wasn’t necessary at my job! A lot of offices will train the right person without any experience
