  • This stops you slicing! When you really just can't stop slicing and you need a drill! This drill stopped 97.1% of golfers to stop slicing, it is an absolute game changer and I would recommend watching this video to anyone.
How many times have you tried to fix your slice and it has not worked? Or given you the permanent fix? A lot of golfers start straight and the ball slices...this is a step by step guide to stop slicing the golf ball.
This step by step guide includes: Grip (are you gripping the golf club correctly?), next is takeaway/backswing, we have to get these two commons things right but a lot of golfers don't! Finally we have downswing/release. Again two massive key points we need to nail here!! Follow this video through, step by step and I promise you will see a massive difference and you will stop your slice!

"Throwing a Frisbee" 11:10 ...That is got to be the best analogy ever when it comes to a driver swing. As a beginner, I would slice my tee shot over and over again. I know how to throw a frisbee with my left hand and my swing did not feel like anything like that. More like my left hand felt like I was throwing a frisbee into the ground. Now I understand completely what Alex is conveying. Not only does "throwing a frisbee" help with dropping into the slot, but it also gets the driver into that upward trajectory. The other amazing tip is the wrist angle of your left hand. It helps keep the forearms together at impact, which of course closes the face. Great video!

Congrats! You did something no other UA-cam golf instructor has done- demonstrating the mechanics of the club to generate left & right spins. Nobody seems to do this at the club face level. Excellent job!

By far the best tutorial videos on UA-cam. I'm a new golfer and have been slicing like crazy. Up till now, the only thing that slightly corrected it was keeping driver more upright.
You've a great, straightforward teaching style. I've watched a thousand instructional videos on UA-cam and yours are the easiest to understand. Great work. Thanks for the tips. I'll be recommending your videos to everybody. #100club

I watched it 2 nights ago, went to the range and only hit driver with no real success. watched your vid again, forgot about the shoulders pointing away from the target at release. I have been a slicer for 25 years. At 60 years old Alex has changed my game. Added 20-30 yards on my tee shots and in much better position for my second shot. Now I need to watch more to fix my short game. I can't thank this man enough for making golf more fun as a senior. His fixes are simple to understand and help you avoid analysis paralysis. I had this same problem, and the way I remedied it was to literally just focus on keeping my left leg (right handed player) straight.
it meant that my knee still bent forward and allowed my hips to turn, but my knee didn't cave in and make me bottom out early.
it also means that I wasn't overthinking any other part of the swing, meaning that, when my set up is correct, my swing was much more consistent in every other aspect.
