Only the last dish convinced me. Otherwise I go to the fish market in Marseille and have a dozen with lemon juice and vinagrette.

I love the dishes, the restaurants and the art you guys try to share with the world, there's just one thing: You guys really have to improve your sound and editing skills, I can hear the chef's heavy breathing right in my ear which is very annoying. Second: try to cut out or shorten out some of the parts that are too long. (20sec for just him cutting the oyster is a bit too long)

Hi there! Thanks so much for your feedback which we really appreciate. Please do note, however, that this is a film with 4 different movies that were filmed between 2012 and 2020. The first one in this movie (De Librije) is the latest one and is of total different quality then the other ones. We do hope you notice some progress there 😉 . Please also check some of our latest movies on our channel to see more recent movies and the quality we offer today. In any case, thanks so much for the feedback and see you soon on our channel 🙌.

@@wbpstars You didn't even fucking listen. The FIRST MOVIE is where you can hear the heavy breathing. So yeah, the quality got WORSE over time.

The ridiculousness of these tiny bits of food is legion. Come on, now...does ANYONE think that spending hundreds of dollars in restaurants owned by a vain asshole is the way to go? You cannot tell me that a 3-bite, $50 plate...just to say you've eaten at a Michelin-starred restaurant...is anything but showing off a deep pocket. Ridiculous.

That's a common theme I noticed about all these Michelin starred restaurants, none of the chefs wear gloves, a complete contrast to the cheaper fast food restaurants like McDonald's. Provided they wash their hands first with soap and water, and also when handling raw poultry, I don't think that matters as making Michelin quality food must be difficult with gloves on.

Editing and filming absolutely hideous. The image gets overexposed every few seconds, and you're constantly focusing on the chefs, not the food. You guys really need to learn how to film and what is the focus of your video (one tip: it's the food, not the people making it). Also, the chef clearly has a heart condition and, though he doesn't look obese, he really needs to loose weight. So, try to edit the sound so we don't have to listen to his hard breathing all the time. We don't hear anything from the guy actually making the dish.

Most professional kitchens are really fucking loud and have less than ideal lighting. Hood fans, several people in communication at all times, burners, ovens, pans and pots moving. Some places will try to minimize sound as much as possible but it's just a fact that the equipment itself is noisy. Bringing studio equipment in is not an option. Kitchens are tight as it is and any extra equipment is a hazard for other chefs trying to conduct service or prep. Also, you don't know the kinds of conditions they're working under. You say he has a heart problem but he's probably worked 100+ hours that week pushing himself. This isn't your typical fucking desk job. Chefs in these kinds of kitchens are fucking pushing themselves physically and mentally every hour of the day, trying to eke out seconds of efficiency under pressure. I wouldn't be surprised if taking the time to prepare a dish for camera amidst a busy dinner service would leave them out of breath. So, don't be so quick to judge something you know so little about.

@Pengui01 The first one is just too much gain on the microphone, or over processing causing clipping (those background noises are so high it may be best to NOT normalise the audio).
Your opinion is a little personal though, maybe he just had a cold?
Well done for being such an a**
      P.S. I love your content Pengui ;¬)
