I just wanted to say thank you for all your work. I've seen every single video from both of you, I've been there since the beginning and I'm still excited. If I'm in a bad mood, you lift me up again. Your channel should be much better known here on UA-cam. Greets from Germany! IST ES SCHEISSE? 😂
bedroom producer here - thanks to your show I'm finally using other comps and saturators other than stock daw ones, and getting my mind blown on how good my s*it beats sound now. Also, thumbs up for the stories and the lighthearted approach of the show. I hope you find money on the sidewalk on the way to the pub!
This was another great synopsis of a product from Toneboosters who are making some very cool stuff at easy to buy prices. I haven't bought the MBC as yet, mostly because I have so darn many compressors already, but I will give it a try when putting together the sample clips for my next guitar review. Cheers from Canada
Thank you for the awesome review! Made me demo and buy it. Regarding the external side chain filter: it doesn’t listen to the same frequency band it’s set to, as you mentioned. Instead, it listens to the wide-band frequency spectrum of the external side chain. This design allows it to react to frequencies other than the one it’s set to.
The guy Jeroen was doing a plugin called isone pro,a can opener like before its time, and maybe the best one i tried. I even kept using taper for a while just for using it (it's a 32 bits only plugin)
After having watched your review of the EQ Pro I bought it right from the spot. Despite having millions of EQs, but this one is just sooo versatile and good... got to say, it instantly became my go-to, and I have the full Melda bundle.
To all the iPhone AUM producers/mixers- all of the Toneboosters stuff is available in Auv3! One of The few high end developers there. Where I use all there stuff on the go
MBC is the only mb compressor i actually like to use. Comfortable UI. Yes, i did try Fab. I am very happy TB are getting at least some attention, because plugins are really good and VERY reasonably priced. If buy anything - TB is fist on the list.

I use this multiband, its great when alchemist dont do the things, i bought the equalizer 4 but did something strange with the hi frec. but the new eq. pro... i must try this! thanks for the revisions of this brand, some small brands are unknown but offer very good tools.
Toneboosters' plugins are cheap and excellent. Well-designed and eye-candy and very responsive, curves and all. The ready-themes are a cool touch to make them more 'yours' visually. Flabbergasted 🤠
Thanks for doing this review. This is probably the fourth plug-in I've purchased after seeing your review. It turned out to be the perfect complement to my mix bus chain. On a particular song I didn't know that it needed saturation on the low band and slight upwards compression in the low-mid band until I used this. On an unrelated note - In your blind listening tests it might be really interesting to hear a comparison of a single song with different mixes from specific plug-in manufacturers. For example, one mix would be PSP Audioware, another Toneboosters, another Noise Ashe, another Brainworx, another UAD, and a final one using stock plug-ins. I know it would probably be very time consuming but the results would be fascinating to hear and also to read the guesses from the audience.
Well, well. I wasn’t familiar with ToneBoosters plugins before your vids. Downloaded the demos and ended up buying most of them. Truly amazing plugins: well thought out and extremely good sounding. Just wish I had known about these earlier instead of buying more than one or two plugins from other companies - many of which have left me wanting. So thank you for your guidance. Cheers - kippis.
I usually mess things up with anything mid side or multi band! 🤣Tried this, it's quite nice for tucking the bass in on a mix, don't trust myself to anything other than that! I mean come on... the price is bang on! Love companies like this, reminds me of the Valhalla stuff, great plugins at fair prices with no ridiculous sales tactics makes me want to support them.
Looks a lot like reaper's reaXcomp,... not to take away from a most excellent plug-in company, toneboosters. I think it maxes out at four bands but I can't imagine needing more than that. Everyone has different needs though. Cheers.

5:19 in Toneboosters eq4 you can click the piano keyboard and it will place the node exactly on that frequency
@@EdwinDekker71 I believe pro Q 3 and Kirchoff can do the same 🤔

Thanks Sean, another plug-in you’ve convinced me to buy! ☺️
Love Toneboosters! I have the MBC and it’s extremely easy to use and sounds great. I have their Morphit headphone EQ plugin too. Fantastic!
