Just beyond the battery there should be a small box with 2 air lines going in. Check the hoses etc. That's why mine would go on and off until the hose fell off and the CE light stayed on. Box should be fine but those hoses need to be in good shape. Hope this helps and the truck looks great.

Good looking truck I never understood why anyone would want a 2WD off-roader, especially with a four-cylinder

I thought the same. Then I got one of these bad boys. They are surprisingly good off road for a 2WD. Perhaps it has more to do with driver skill, but my buddy gets stuck in his 4x4 bronco more often than I do on the same trails.

Gamma from what I’ve heard, ford ranger 4x4’s are annoying as fuck to deal with. Most of the time they are hard to get in and out of gear, and often times need to be rebuilt. Better to just get a jeep, or get the 2wd ranger and build it up like a pre runner

Shade Tree Mechanic ok thank you very much I have a 97 ranger splash 2wd with the 4.0 and I’m trying to make it a little more off-road Capable. I have a 2 in leveling kit with 235 75r 15s on it now so was just curious about the brake lines being too short after the lift. U have a very nice looking truck. I wish mine had a regular bed on it like yours. I Don’t like flare side like mine is now. The stance of ur truck is ideal for how I want mine to look. Building a front bumper similar to yours in a couple weeks or so. Do you still have your truck. One day I’m gonna stick prerunner suspension under is and hit the desert. With full cage everything. Gonna be awhile but I’ll make it there. Lol

@@Tsmace33 oh and to add to that I even bought 2 inch spacers in a last ditch effort still no help rolled the fenders with the old baseball bat trick as well still nothing done the job except the old sawzall lol. Now I'd be lying if I said I didnt like the outcome but it pained me to go chopping on my good ole ranger that was in pretty good and shape and still my daily. I still have it actually good truck but it ate the gas after oh and also if yours is a Manual 5th gear becomes nonexistent. And it took a hell of a lot of alignment jobs to get it to even drive half decent anything over 45 got scary as hell lol if I could take it back I would lol.. ended up being about 500 dollar job to get em on balanced and aligned right. AMD random expenses here and there. And my clutch also went out soon after Luckily the ranger have adjustable casters but it was still all day getting that thing aligned lol sorry for the rant man. Just pained me listening to these people on here saying it would work and I found out the hard way that I didnt so if I can even save 1 person the hassle I feel I done some good

Wulf suspension makes keys to turn up the torsion bar suspension, you can also do a spindle lift
