Just beyond the battery there should be a small box with 2 air lines going in. Check the hoses etc. That's why mine would go on and off until the hose fell off and the CE light stayed on. Box should be fine but those hoses need to be in good shape. Hope this helps and the truck looks great.
I thought the same. Then I got one of these bad boys. They are surprisingly good off road for a 2WD. Perhaps it has more to do with driver skill, but my buddy gets stuck in his 4x4 bronco more often than I do on the same trails.

Try spraying under ur transmission area there’s a cable there my 96 stop at 250,000 but a year just fool around decided to stray off underneath and wow it started working again
What is your wheel and tire combo?? I have the same truck but gold and im putting on a rough country 4 inch lift lift and buying some MT Baja Lock wheels on 31x10.50/15 and im wondering if I should get 15x8 wheels or 15x10? I like the offset on yours its perfect.
Keith Campbell I did not but if you check out my most recent video I put a 2” level on top of the 4” lift and I did get extended brake lines after that!

I have a 2 in leveling kit with 235 75r 15s on it now so was just curious about the brake lines being too short after the lift. U have a very nice looking truck. I wish mine had a regular bed on it like yours. I Don’t like flare side like mine is now. The stance of ur truck is ideal for how I want mine to look. Building a front bumper similar to yours in a couple weeks or so. Do you still have your truck. One day I’m gonna stick prerunner suspension under is and hit the desert. With full cage everything. Gonna be awhile but I’ll make it there. Lol

I have 2.3 with 31s on it and it runs fine. Not always the motor size though, gearing is everything. A small motor can push massive tires with big enough gears.

I’ll tell you why someone would want to lift a 2wd. I have a base model 96 with no options whatsoever but the darn little thing just keeps running so I hesitate to get rid of it BUT, it’s so dang low I keep giving myself a concussion on the top of the door whenever I get in it.
No they will catch the bumper and the back of the fenders trust me I know from experience. Had to sawzall 3 inches off the bumper and a good 1 inch halfway down the back of the fender. Had to get fender flares to cover the mess. Not worth it if you have a nice truck. I had 3 inch lift and 2 inch coil spacers and it still didnt do the trick
@@Tsmace33 no problem man I went off the advice on UA-cam saying it would clear and all this and well lesson lear9the hard way if I could I'd send ya pics to prove that I'm not bsn like half these ppl do they just make up shit as they go lol.
@@Tsmace33 oh and to add to that I even bought 2 inch spacers in a last ditch effort still no help rolled the fenders with the old baseball bat trick as well still nothing done the job except the old sawzall lol. Now I'd be lying if I said I didnt like the outcome but it pained me to go chopping on my good ole ranger that was in pretty good and shape and still my daily. I still have it actually good truck but it ate the gas after oh and also if yours is a Manual 5th gear becomes nonexistent. And it took a hell of a lot of alignment jobs to get it to even drive half decent anything over 45 got scary as hell lol if I could take it back I would lol.. ended up being about 500 dollar job to get em on balanced and aligned right. AMD random expenses here and there. And my clutch also went out soon after Luckily the ranger have adjustable casters but it was still all day getting that thing aligned lol sorry for the rant man. Just pained me listening to these people on here saying it would work and I found out the hard way that I didnt so if I can even save 1 person the hassle I feel I done some good

Jeremy Nolan mine did fine with the 3.73’s and the 2.3. I’ve since put an 8.8 with 3.73’s under it and I’m also in the middle of doing a v8 swap.
