Only coaches can grasp what each other going though in their careers stress, success, and failures. That is why they have special bond and up most respect from one another.

I am a USC graduate and a very much supporter of my School's football program, of course the 11 year Coach Steve Spurrier legacy. I am also a resident of the great state of South Carolina and have never been a 'Clemson Football' hater due to the fact that both schools represent this Palmetto State. I would like to say that Clemson's football program has overachieved USC's program since conception, simply the facts. Yet USC has made major strides in gaining a winning program via (Lou Holtz then Steve Spurrier) and have over the last 15 years come a very long way. I also must comment that Clemson's football program has been somewhat superior to USC's for decades in winning - the record cannot be denied. Yet Lou Holtz and Coach Spurrier have elevated USC's program to new heights, the next coaching staff are tasked with the "final goal" as Clemson achieved in 81'. My point is, Coach Dabo showed me tremendous class with his remarks of Coach Spurrier leaving USC which I will not forget as a Gamecock fan. And as a Gamecock fan, Coach Dabos respectful, of class and respect to our schools' loss will be in my memory for some time due to his remarks did come from the heart of Coach Dabo to the heartbroken USC nation in the great state of South Carolina.

I'm a diehard Gamecock and have nothing but the utmost respect for Dabo although it kills me to admit it. He is a class act and only wish he was coaching anywhere but at Clemson!
