I went to my great grandpa's funeral today... this song was played during it and it hasn't left my mind since. He was a vet in WW2, and after WW2 he found his wife that he was with for the rest of his life. 75 years actually. He'd always brag about her and say how much he loved doing things for her... he was such a great man...

I’m 18, I’ve been depressed for half my life, but things started getting better when I found God again a year ago. I’ve been more depressed due to a bad breakup (hoping to reconcile with her) but I listen to this and “Be Not Afraid” at night, it helps knowing God’s here to help no matter what

You're never going to believe this.... this was played at my Grandmother's funeral this past December. Her name was Jeanette, just like you. So weird that I would have seen your comment under this exact song. I'm just missing her so much and little coincidences like this make me feel like she's letting me know she's still with me. ❤️
Similar experience. My grandfather passed 2 months ago. As soon as they started singing this song, I couldn't control my emotions. It was a beautiful send off. Listening to this again brings all the memories and emotions back.
Just buried my mom 5 days ago. This song was sung when we walked down the aisle at her funeral. She suffered from dementia for 11 years. I miss her so much much but she's finally at peace. Thanks you Dear Lord.
Last night I was reading psalms 91. As soon as I closed the Bible, I heard the lyrics “And he will raise you up on Eagles wings, Bear you on the breath of dawn” I kept hearing it and began singing it aloud. I remembered the hook from singing it at church in Catholic school as a little girl. I decided to look up the lyrics and to my shock the songs lyrics are Psalms 91. My God🫢 I instantly praised God for his magnificence, he is so Outstandingly wonderful. He had me singing Psalms 91 as a little girl without even knowing it🙏🏽

Nothing has gone right for me in this world except God . But he covers everything. Hes all I ever needed he gives me hope,love, safety ,happiness hes my best friend when im lonely without a freind in the world. He gave me everything ive ever needed. He gave me everything the world denied. And now i volunteer to help others see what he can do.

In 1981 i was at the lowest point in my life. I went to see Chariots of Fire and at one point Eric Liddell, a minister, quotes from the Old Testament “I will raise you up on Eagle’s Wings”. I knew those words were for me. That a the words to this song saved my life because they came true

I remember the day we buried my grandmother and I was a lector for her funeral. One of the hardest things I had ever done, not because I was nervous but because I specifically picked the reading out and was asked to read it. I remember standing their during my reading, breaking down. And as I stood there, Father was watching me and I knew they I couldn't just walk away. I end up finishing and till this day, I always say that was the hardest thing I had ever done. Then, when walking the casket out to my grandma's final resting place, they played this song. Still one of my favorites but I always bring back one of the hardest moments in my life.
First heard this Hymn at a Funeral in 1995. I have always believed. I hope I always will. I love hearing a Choir singing. It always, regardless of the Hymn being sung, draws me closer to God. I know life's not about feelings. It's about love. It's about what we do, how we act. Faith without works means nothing I was once told. I love it when people use their time to better other people's lives. To me, you couldn't give a greater gift than time. Thank you again for using your time to allow me to listen to such a beautiful and uplifting Hymn. 🙌🙏

I served at funerals, everytime this was sung it was the only song I poured all of my heart towards, it is beautiful, peaceful, and reassuring. Stumbling upon this song from an extreme crying episode over suddenly losing my best furry friend Dexter seven months ago. The grief is still as strong as it was the day he died. I long and pray to see him again in Heaven again someday and pray that he hears me telling him how much I love and miss him everyday and how much I want to see him again. So sorry if you ever felt taken for granted, Dexter. Life is not the same without you.
I pray that burden has been lessened now. I hope you find love in another furry family member. Your friend is now with Jesus and God Almighty in the most beautiful land of the universe. May God truly bless you.

Joe Biden brought me here. This was my mom’s favorite song. She was active in her church choir with my stepdad, and they have both passed on. The choir sang it at her funeral in 2006 which is probably the last time I heard it. Thank you so much for having a choir recording available. So many memories and tears today. Praying for hope and healing for our nation.
People should never forget that Biden is a Catholic and he loves his Church and God. He's a moral man. It's sad that everything is so divisive these days.

I remember the day we buried my grandmother and I was a lector for her funeral. One of the hardest things I had ever done, not because I was nervous but because I specifically picked the reading out and was asked to read it. I remember standing their during my reading, breaking down. And as I stood there, Father was watching me and I knew they I couldn't just walk away. I end up finishing and till this day, I always say that was the hardest thing I had ever done. Then, when walking the casket out to my grandma's final resting place, they played this song. Still one of my favorites but I always bring back one of the hardest moments in my life.

Stumbling upon this song from an extreme crying episode over suddenly losing my best furry friend Dexter seven months ago. The grief is still as strong as it was the day he died. I long and pray to see him again in Heaven again someday and pray that he hears me telling him how much I love and miss him everyday and how much I want to see him again. Joe Biden brought me here. This was my mom’s favorite song. She was active in her church choir with my stepdad, and they have both passed on. The choir sang it at her funeral in 2006 which is probably the last time I heard it. Thank you so much for having a choir recording available. So many memories and tears today.
