Sometimes I can’t get out of strobe; both tap and click of main switch turn up strobe. Switching to daily mode doesn’t help. Turned on main switch (strobe), then click function switch, it’s still strobe. What’s wrong?

I am so sorry to hear about your encounter with your P16, I am not 100% sure but what I think is that the unit you have is having issues with the tail cap switch, have you contacted Acebeam already or the store where you purchased it?

Can this Acebeam P-16 use another brand's 18650 lithium ion battery in addition to using its own battery?

Yes it can use other 18650 aside of the battery that comes along with it
