Great video, & I had some lol moments. The last video I watched was You driving the GMC hauling some grain. Love the M-F hat; I have a few, But not a black & white one. That M-F 165 is a sweet machine, & the access panel for the air filter is way to cool. Nice touch at the end of the video with Carl C. That man is a genius .

@@jtsbarnngrill6873Sounds good; I'm planing the same with my 59 M-F 50 gasoline hopefully late spring; She's a working tractor so I'm hoping to give her some down time then, & just do a nice rattle can paint job; Just make her look better. She'll always be a working tractor. The plan is to put more choirs on the newer 2018 M-F 1526; during late spring into early fall. The only thing I need to get for the M-F 50 is a few new gauges. I have everything else; Decals, Paint, & I just put on a new seat cushion with a back rest. I don't mean to go on about the 50, But it is the 1st tractor I have ever owned, & that has been for 26 years.Stella deserve it.

That was quick. On our 165 Diesel we bought the adapter kit off eBay to convert ours to a spin on oil filter. It works great. Not sure if they make a kit for the gas model or not.

While the spin on is convenient; They are more prone to puncture; Than a canister filter.

Well JT, I did a ten minute oil change on one of my jeeps two weeks ago. I had about ten minutes and I knew I could easily get-r done!:) Dropped the oil, spun off the filter, spun on the new filter and firmly tightened, threw the plug back in the pan and dumped five quarts of Pennsylvania oil down the pipe! Bamm! Started her up and dumped two quarts of oil on the floor?:😢 The rubber seal on the new filter fell out of the groove when I was spinning it on. Never had that happen before!😮 30 minutes of oil cleanup and another trip to NAPA to get more oil! Every time I go in the shop that oil stain reminds me what an idiot I am.

Great video. I’d be wearing mechanics gloves and throwing a bit of cardboard on the ground, but other than that I’d be doing the same as you. Call it a 10 minute oil & filter change… the grease & air filter service took 2 minutes. Keep up the good work.

Tip of the day to some. Turn your oil can so that the opening is on top when you pour in oil, then slowly turn the opening sideways as the oil decreases. That way air flows easily into the can and you have a steady oil flow instead of a flop flop flop. I also saw that some people do the same with the 20l or 5 gal. cans. Someone stated, and showed it, that you have to put a hole in the lid using a screwdriver for a steady flow.
    No criticism intended.

Shouldn't use high pressure air on an air filter. Can tear tiny holes and let the bad stuff thru. Tap it off and when that doesn't work, replace it.

Could you tell me why some 165 Massey tractors stand a little taller than the smallest stance that your see on most of the regular high. Tractors
. I not talking about the high clearance tall tractor's that were designed for the vgatgatable jijgj clearance versionns.
