if you dont plan on swapping it out, do you think just mounting the zip strips through the plastic seat frame would be strong enough. Basically just put the zip strips through the plastic on the new seat and then attach them through the holes on the plastic seat frame.
I didn't see the reason why wouldn't you want to attach the zap straps to the frame directly. It's extra protection. The factory plastic brackets attach to the platic body under the seat, so I'm assuming that part would hold the seat if attached only to it.
Can you send links to where you purchased the RH panels for right, left and rear? I have a 22 Ryker Rally but am having a hard time finding the panels for my bike
Hey Emil, great Video ! But I don't understand why you mount the seat with zip strips and not with the plastic brackets seen at 08:50. And is it nessesary to remove all the covers and panels as well, when you use the plastic brackets ???
Per Can-Am installation instructions, you will have to remove all the panels mentioned in the video if you decide to use the factory brackets. In my case I wanted a simple way to change from one seater to 2 seater ride.
It's super save. I have no concerns about it. About the fender, I mostly use the bike in the city without issues , but for off-road I recommend installing the max mount setup.
Great video,
Beautiful seat. I could use that for my long legs.
The seat looks great, its just to bad that they didn't let you keep the max mount
Totally agree. I like it better than the other comfort seat.
Securing the original seat back on when you want to have a passenger is the next video I would love to see. Putting that back is not easy.

Check at 10:45. It takes me like 5 minutes (8 bolts).

Great video man! How was the ride with the new seat? Did it stay in place, did you get the full fender, without it was there splash on your back?
I have never had problems with the seat, but I do switch it from time ți time.
And when it rains I get spalshed. On Dry is good.

The panels can be ordered from the dealer.

Can the max mount still be attached to the new comfort seat?
Not together with the solo seat.
Great idea
The spoiler and side caps for solo seat where did you order those parts from
from the same Can-Am dealer that sold me the bike.
Would you happen to know the parts number for the spoiler and side caps the dealer orders for you

Thanks alot..got it now...much appreciate you for responding
I can't find the side caps for anything.
does the seat feel secure being fastened with zip ties? Also, have you notices your seat gets full of sand and dirt after a ride without the fender?
It's super save. I have no concerns about it. About the fender, I mostly use the bike in the city without issues , but for off-road I recommend installing the max mount setup.
Very interested in the solo seat. Do you know if you can still use the side bag with the solo seat?
I believe Saddlebag you can, but confirm with Can-Am.
@@gigi19mai1 Thanks!
You can, I have it
What did u hook the zip tie around on the seat ?
I zipped through the holes I made in the seat pegs to the frame of the bike.
Ok thank you
How tall are you? Please in "cm"
184cm
@@gigi19mai1 Thank you!
Your going to have a very dirty back.🤣
It’s so stupid they made the solo seat incompatible with the max mount. Heaven forbid a tall person wanted to carry a passenger 🤦🏼♂️
This is not "easy". Looks complicated. My opinion.
This is not a motorcycle
trikephobe!
And your point is?
