my guess is they were only able to use rectangles and circles, so phase 3 saltbaker had to just have a TON of rectangles to fit the shape. I can only guess why the platforms have so many overlaying parts.. maybe in development, the end of one was used as a starting place for spinners? I have no idea. it is weird though. Especially Phase 1. But there could have been a different layout for the fight that just wasn't removed.

@gary_asher Cala Maria's fish has a diamons hitbox, wouldn't that have been a lot better?
