Craning The Bridge Deck Onto The First Broadblue Rapier 550

Multimarine is building the moulds, tooling and prototype of the Broadblue Rapier 550 at the Multihull Centre in south east Cornwall. In October the bridge deck moulding was craned onto the hulls. Once they have been bonded together the coachroof can go on and we will have a complete catamaran. In the video you can see how large the central living space is - the result of integrating the saloon with the cockpit, creating one large open area that can be either open to the elements or enclosed, but retaining excellent vision all round the boat. Multimarine's use of laminates and resin infusion will ensure a robust and light performance cruising cat that will be a pleasure to sail.
