The LawnMaster Hover Mower, is powered by an 1800W motor, is designed for medium to larger sized lawns and weighs just 8.38kg. It features a large 36cm cutting blade, 26 litre internal grass collection box and has the ability to cut & collect, mulch the grass cuttings.
LawnMaster is, without a doubt, one of the best mower brands out there for affordability, performance and features provided. However, when it comes to hover mowers, one would instantly turn to Flymo, but LawnMaster has brought out its LawnMaster hover mower collect 36cm 1800w to rival the original hover brand and I’ve been quite impressed with what I’ve seen.
Main Features
36cm cutting deck
Reversible blade
4 cutting heights
26 litre grass box

Best Electric Hover Lawn Mower Reviews

I’ve been looking for another lawnmower and I had a look at this one. The thing I noticed immediately is that it appears that the Titan 36cm 1800watt hover mower sold by Screwfix, is identical to this LamnMaster. The casing is from the exact same mold and everything is the same with the mulch flap and cable hook etc. The only differences are the colour, as the Titan is grey, and most importantly, the price. The Lawnmaster is currently £149.99, whilst the Titan is £79.99. I bought the Titan 😂
Hi Gerald, I responded to your message via email last week, thanks Mark
How've you found that Titan mower? I've noticed the exact thing as you regarding how they're clearly all from the same Chinese Factory. My flymo broke (push to start button has died I think) and don't particuraly want to go flymo again.
Cheers for taking time to do your video, really looking for someone to come along and tell me the right choice of mower to buy, I've taken two back in a month, absolute disgrace to find 2024 manufacturers are selling nothing but crap mowers, ive seen better plastic on food packages, I swear these mower parts where made by Cadburys chocolate, yes you BOSCH AND FLYMO!! never in my days of gardening have I seen such dreadful poor products hitting the markets.. Stay well clear.. If someone could 100% point me in the right place I'll pay take my money now
Hi, thanks for your comment. Are you a domestic user or commercial? Take a look at the Cobra Fortis, Hayter and Alllett models. They do come at a price! Thanks Mark

Great!
Many thanks.
Thanks for your video. After watching this, ive gone and bought this hover mower. Just arrived, easy to assemble and whilst a little flimsy in terms of folding down the handles, its looks a decent machine. I have a medium sized lawn to cut so im hoping this will work fine. I usually keep my grass short and tidy throughout the summer. My old hover mower recently packed in after a number of years and i forgot to check the height setting i had it set at. Watching your video, would you say the 12 cutting height would be to short or would the 19 height that you used be more than sufficient? I dont want a bowling green so thinking the 19 setting would be the better option. Your opinion having used this mower would be very much appreciated as weather permitting, will possibly do a final cut this weekend. Thanks in advance
Hi Barry, thanks for your message. I just did my final cut yesterday on my lawn and I went down to 25mm. I think a slightly higher setting would be better for the winter around 20-25mm to ensure it remains healthy and the moss doesn't take over. Please let me know how you get on with this mower. Mark
Hi mark, thanks for your reply. Now that the weather has improved up here in scotland having had a few dry days, ive now managed to give my garden a final cut using my new hover machine. All i can say is im well impressed. Really lightweight to move around and it cuts great, just as good as my previous machine. Never had any issues with having to go over the same area twice as no need to. Delighted i bought this and would highly recommend to anyone else. Thanks again for your review.
What is the black thing in Fig 10 for and how do you use it?
Hi Tony, Fig 10 in the manual is the cable strain relief hook. This helps to prevent any damage to the cable where it joins the mower. Hope this helps.
It seems to require several passes over the same spot to get the job done completely. I can see some benefit to an "urban-sized" small backyard patch or where you have fairly steep inclines. But it looks like it would take forever to get a complete and consistent cut on a large flat lawn like yours.
Thanks for your comment, yes a hover mower is only suitable for specific types of lawn - my lawn being 500msq is for sure too large for this mower or any hover mower. I hope you can see the performance of this mower on the area I covered, as this was my main purpose.
Having trouble folding bar down on lawnmaster hoover what am I doing wrong thanks Deb
Me too 😩
Hi Deborah, could you please let me know what issue you are having with folding the handles? Is it being restricted by the cable? You nee to ensure that the cable runs over the lower bar to prevent it pulling whilst folding the handles. See my video on the link below where I show actually how to fold the handles, hope this helps. ua-cam.com/video/nS5lzdXV3zI/v-deo.html
You have to undo the two levers.
Rather get a normal electric or power mower.
Thanks for your comment.
Cant open the nut for the blade after a 10sec use. Impossible. Stupid design
Thanks for your feedback, I would contact LawnMaster for some feedback, their support is very helpful and may offer suggestions on how to release the nut, as I have not experienced this myself. Please let me know how you get on.
