If you ever heard the George Lopez theme starting to play you either got up too early or you stayed up too late
i rarely ever watched Nick@Nite when i was a kid but sometimes hearing the music on the credits of George Lopez's sitcom back in 2007 was relaxin' & dope lol.
Nick at Nite was always My Favorite place to watch Full House, R.I.P. Bob Saget!😭❤️📺🎶👍🏻
I remember when I was in 3rd grade I would wake up at 4am just to watch full house and George Lopez 😢
nickelodeon really said to george lopez, “you’re supposed to be running nick@nite!” and he just said, “I am running it, directly into the ground!”
I remember Nick@Nite having George Lopez, they lost the rights to it, however it can be watched Via TBS.
and some shows Nick@Nite Used To air are avaliable to stream, on diffrent streaming services, I can't believe they stopped doing original content, kinda reminds me of how Universal Kids Did.
Nick@Nite brings back many memories. It started around 8pm so I was usually still up when it started, but I remember watching it when I was sick, if the EAS woke me up on the one night I forgot to turn off the tv, or the universal experience of waking up to the George Lopez theme song at 3am.
I remember watching Full House, Family Matters, Malcom in the Middle, Fresh Prince, Friends, George Lopez, maybe That 70s Show (though I can't remember if I had watched that on Nick@Nite or something else), and many more.
I had thought my first memory of Nick@Nite was in 2006 (despite only being 1 or 2) watching it come on and Family Matters come on, but it must have been a different network because family matters didn't begin on N@N until 2008. I thought maybe it was on the N since I watched Noggin at that age, but it never aired on there. I remember it so vividly though, idk.
IMO Nick at Nite was a great programming option when it launched since it came at a time when Baby Boomers were busy with their careers, many raising kids, and this left the evenings as a great time to settle for some of the classic shows that they grew up with. Sure, some stations aired older shows, but in the later half of the 1980s, they were usually no more than a decade old. This meant a great opportunity for so many shows from the 1950s, '60s, and early '70s to be seen again on the air, sometimes in decades. Almost no classic TV series had home video releases at the time, and this continued right through the 1990s. New additions would focus on more '70s and the occasional '80s show like Newhart or Cheers, but the channel continued its retro focus through not just its logo, but its various bumpers, sometimes with episode trivia preceding each show. But when classic shows on DVD started to take off in the 2000s along with TV Land filling a niche for the Baby Boomer-era shows, Nick @ Nite turned towards the "kidult" first wave of Millenials while shying over the Gen X era. Instead of shows like One Day At A Time, The Facts of Life, Diff'rent Strokes, Family Ties, or even A Different World, we skipped right over into the Mad About You, Seinfeld, and Friends era with just a short sampling of Roseanne and Full House. Things only got worse as the schedule increasingly got culled with more Friends reruns, which by the late '00s, were readily available on DVD, meaning that Nick @ Nite's purpose was starting to fade into obsolesce with the rise in technology. As it is, given that people want to watch classics whenever, I could see Nick @ Nite's end in the next few years. It's first 17 years or so were probably its best.
Shout out to all those who woke up in the middle of the night hearing "All my friends know the low rider"
I remember watching everybody hates Chris, full house, see dad run, instant mom, rugrats movie, curious George movie, cloudy with a chance of meatballs, and family brainsurge on nick at nite. I don’t know why they change the “at nite” from blue to orange. I wish they should’ve kept it blue.
I remember some of the George Lopez, Full House, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Family Matters, Malcolm in the Middle, Everybody Hates Chris and The Nanny reruns on Nick at Nite back in college kinda nostalgic it seems why I started to like watching the George Lopez show lol.
Happy Valentine's Day!
Edit: Yes, I am aware that the George Lopez/Dora the Explorer commercial was found recently. And yes, I am just as thrilled as you all are!
Imagine waking up at 3:00am and seeing George Lopez on your tv.
Hey man. Great video. Such great memories from my childhood! I'm sure you probably know by now, but the Dora and George Lopez promo has been found! Just looked it up!
I remember watching Nick@Nite after watching Spongebob SquarePants. Full House, Family Matters, George Lopez, Home Improvement, then Instant Mom. I think Are We There Yet? was on there too. Oh yeah, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, too!
The first Nickelodeon logo featured a man looking into a machine
Half of the comments: *OMGA IF YOU WOKE UP AT 3 AM AND HEARD THE GEORGE LOPEZ INTRO YOURE A LEGEND!*
Happy Valentine's Day!
(I also have been sick with a stomach bug for the past few days, but I'm slowly starting to feel better. I also watch these kinds of UA-cam, even when I'm sick.)
Medora seriously being a long time subscriber to you since the very beginning I highly suggest you do a review on nickmusic
Thank you for sharing this with us!
I found a lost commercial. Do you remember the two Gelsons Lopez? And Dora the explorer. Commercial I found.
Let’s gooo the history of videos are back
I've watched Nick At Nite since its inception. I remember watching I Love Lucy & The Lucy Show at grandmas. I remember Hi Honey I'm Home & thinking the Pleasentville movie was inspired by it.
“As you were probably expecting this will be a long one” an 8 minute long one
The Friends Block™️
I found the commercial you, very been looking for it was on UA-cam!😊
Growing up, one of the only shows I've watched on Nick At Nite was Full House.
The splash logo is the one I liked the most back in the day.
I remember when they would show like Happy days or something lol (in the 90’s before George Lopez of course lol)
Saw this on your Discord
At 1:22, so that is how the A&E Networks was established. I never knew about A&E's beginnings until recently.
I remember full house, friends, see dad run, and instant mom.
The commercial is founded now Medora
I remember when Hi Honey, I'm Home was on the air. It was a strange show billed as the first "instant rerun". It would first air on the Friday night TGIF block on ABC, then it would rerun on Nick at Night Sunday night, just 2 nights later. Besides the bizarre premise of being a classic TV family that was relocated to the modern world, each episode would guest star actors from classic TV shows.
The George Lopez Dora promo has been found
First
I always watched Full House and The Fresh Price of Bel-Air on nick@nite
Update: Nick at Nite went back to airing episodes of Mom as of last week on March 27th. So they’re back to airing three shows.
Late 2000s nostalgia? Oh my God... I feel so damn old. I got married in the late 2000s! I turned 30 towards the end of 2009! Yes, I know my age, but holy crap... it's still shocking to think I'm technically middle-aged because in my head, I think of adults (i.e. "real adults" like my parents, grandparents, or my in-laws) being in their mid-40s, but no... that's me now. My Dad, in contrast, is 71.
These days it’s the channel block of F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Seinfeld and Mike&Molly, they also air one episode of SpongeBob before it, switches over to Nick Jr.
the lost Geroge Lopez Dora the explorer commercial (George Lopez nick@nite promo) was found.
The George Lopez and Dora the Explorer Nick@Nite Commercial has been found!
I guess I’m not the only one who remembers studio4 Networks!
@@medora2499es and I can’t find anything either but I am looking! So far I can only find the intro though
Bruh NO WAY
That Commercial Was Founded Months Ago And You Actually Remember That Lost Commercial?!
Yeah, it was everywhere on Nickelodeon in 2008. I even remember possibly seeing it on Noggin.
@@medora2499I Made A Schedule For nickelodeon (Morning Block), nickelodeon & nick@niTe

the dora george lopez ad was found not so long ago so find it there now its everywhere
Also, can you do the history of small world/ tickle u/ cartoonito?
Either way nick did get a new logo which features the current logo with the orange splat logo in the background
I remember watching Friends and Full House on Nick@nite before I went to sleep on some nights when I was 11.
I loved the 2002 Nick at nite logo. The splat logo was as far as I would have went
The George Lopez commercial is finally on UA-cam
I found the ad just search George Lopez Dora Ad
Is anyone going to talk about the lost commercial???
Mendoza do history of the main nickelodeon next please
The splat logo has a dark creepy history btw
When talking about the Nick at Nite splat logo, how could you not talk about how to splat outline evokes the image of a crecent moon, calling to the "Nite" part of the name? And the 2 contrasting fonts arent just contrasting, the Nick is in the Nickelodeon font specifically.
Medora it’s me sincere/edward the blue engine
I found the Dora George Lopez ident
I only remember watching Friends and Full House.
Nick@Nite was way better then the original
George Lopez Was Nick at Nite's Family Guy remember when It took over Adult Swim George Lopez took over Nick at Nite

RIP Bob Saget, also are they ever gonna reboot the George Lopez sitcom?
Nick at Nite used to be good af I remember watching this sometimes cuz of George Lopez good times. 💯
4:11, the commercial became found
Can you do the learning channel or cebebbies next
George acting cringe at 3am:
Nick at nite Nickelodeon's Boomerang Where Old TV Shows Came to Die Nick at Nite Its All Coming back to you
It feels like it’s on life support now
I was wondering what do you use to make your videos I was wondering cus I want to make video like this but on other tv channels
Update: we found the Dora ad with George Lopez
Sorry 1990-2005 Nick at Nite was my favorite era
Yeah, they need to get full house back
Dude I found that commercial on UA-cam
Nick @ Nite isn’t really a good block anymore it used to have great TV shows on the block like George Lopez. Everybody hates Chris full house, the nanny and Malcolm in the middle. But nowadays they don’t even have those shows anymore they just only air Mike and Molly and friends. They once aired the office on Nick @ Nite which I liked since the office is a pretty good show but don’t get me wrong. I love friends friends is a good TV show but seeing it on almost every night it can get pretty repetitive, and I feel like Nick @ Nite probably won’t even exist anymore because of how low of ratings and not many people watching nick at night anymore.
Can you recommend to make the history of Knowledge Kids & TVO Kids please🙏.
Hey, it'd be cool if you started doing reviews for tv shows and movies, and not just the railway series and the channel histories.
On the update: nick@nite rebranded to Splat in Sept 2023.
Yes, it received the updated Nickelodeon logo, but it did not change to "Splat." It is still Nick@Nite.
@@medora2499I meant that September 18, 2023 6am nick@nite rebranded to Splat nick@nite. It still uses it currently. Watch nick@nite tonight and you'll know what I'm talking about.
@@medora2499 I meant Nick@Nite rebranded in Sept 2023. I was giving update even though you made this video in Feb 2023
I remember full house on nick at night

Bruh. In my country nickelodeon runs 24/7 i think.
Does anyone remember nick mom ?
Or maybe NickMom? And I saw Nick@Nite on my vacation in Miami, Florida. NickMusic?.
I FOUND THE COMMERCIAL ERIK!!!! ITS ON UA-cam!!

And also sorry you lost George lopez the show and George pez in dora the explorer is lost Media, Medora. I hope you find 2 of them okay and if you have find it you be happy again okay, I hope you understand okay Medora. 👌👌👌
You should make the history of teletoon
Tbh, i like new logos.
Do Teletoon Since Teletoon Shut Down In March 27!
You must be a 2000s to 2010s kid because Nick at Nite Nickelodeon Nick Jr all of it was better in the 90s
Yeah, it's wild. All these kids are talking about Nick at Nite shows we actually watched when they were new and on the networks they originally aired on. Lol
My favorite is the original logo.
Nick@Nite is Trash Now. I mean i like Friends, don't get me wrong, but it's total Bullshit that they have Two shows. They Put Two and a Half Men for a Short Time and they did the same thing for Seinfeld, they got rid of George Lopez, Full House, Everybody hates Chris, Family Matters, Young Shledon, The Cosby Show, Everyobdy Loves Raymond and The Nanny, and now they got two shows. Comedy Central and TVLand do so much Better. At Least give Two and a Half Men and Seinfeld a Chance or Get Back George Lopez.
@@dr.pepper45They also got rid of Roseanne as well, well for obvious reasons.
Can u do the history of adult swim
Only true OG's remember if you left your TV on Nickelodeon through the night, then you wake up at 3am hearing the George Lopez intro
Lol yes
I would actually stay up late to see the 1960s batman show & George Lopez.
I remember that lol and king of the hill to at 8pm.
The show was good
@@adamvyondandplotagonmaster7454lol I still rewatch king of the hill on hulu all the time. I loved that show
