Awesome demo! You make some of the best synth demos on, UA-cam, I love them. I ordered a fable and it’ll be here tomorrow! It will be paired with my Minilogue, Microfreak, and Subharmonicon call. I can’t wait.
Thanks ! be aware though the pedal does have a bug if you push the time all the way up. I illustrated it in another video and will add it to the comments of this video now. This is the video and time stamp: ua-cam.com/video/wrMx9p2sIF0/v-deo.htmlsi=olfUV67CP5v-jolo&t=1083
@@YukiTheSynthDragon thanks for the heads up. I did see your discovery on the Sloer video. I trend to the subtle effects of the pedal so I’m hoping this will be a non issue in practice…..still a bit of an oversight not to have updatability via usb or trs midi/sysex. When a device is no longer a pure analog affair it should be standard to have an update or reset function.
GREAT in depth review! I just bought one and it should arrive tomorrow. I have a Strymon Flint pedal as well for stereo reverb out from the fable to the Strymon.... But that bluesky reverb is really gorgeous sounding and might be just a shade better than my flint. Going to run my Yamaha CS-15D through this in parallel with cassette tapeloops through my Microcosm. 16:56 I like Phaeries too and initially the art work on Fable scared the Bajeezus out of me until the sounds won me over.
Great pedal...aweful picture on it. Great demo man! For that price i look up a microcosm. I had the banana effects aurora that sounded like this wich only was 180 but cheaper built. But same fun
The pitch shifting and modulation seem to have some sweet spots, which is so important for this type of pedal. The reverb really helps it. EDIT: That brake effect is a nice bonus - yeah I wish it had MIDI, to control the brake from a clonewheel along with the Leslie brake, or via a synth controller. I'd be using this in a parallel fx path (one from each side of a synth's stereo outputs), and I'd probably want a brake pedal on the other side, too, but linked with this. Since it doesn't, that means I just wouldn't use the feature on this pedal that often.
I would have bought this if it was stereo, there's a void in the market at this price point for another stereo granular pedal for synth use. I'm also not a fan of the artwork (nothing against the artist), just looking at it next to the Strymon looks like a cheaper pedal.
I'm feeling that way too compared to the Particle 2. This sounds distant and lofi compared to the dry signal (not necessarily a bad thing). I wish the Particle 2 had a filter knob that didn't require midi to make it sound more smeared like that if desired.
Love the Cardcaptor Sakura cards in the thumbnail ❤ awesome demo too of course
Thanks, finally video about Fable on synth!!
wish it had the lore artwork as well. love the vid

Pedal was delivered yesterday. Lost about 3 hours of my life to my XD through it and my Blackhole.
@@andrewjustin174 Blackhole is a perfect pairing for this pedal.
Clow Cards on the thumbnail image, nice.
Thank you! Going to get Fable pedal

Wich red panda, particle?

Constructive critic: Your voice is too loud in comparisson with the synth.
