"Or maybe he'll give me yours." I kinda wish it was Sansa who killed Joffrey at the Purple Wedding. Would it have been predictable? Yes Would it have been extremely gratifying?: HELL YES!
Who says it wasn't? Remember, Martin has stated that Sansa is not a reliable narrator. Perhaps she has been up to a lot more than we realize, or than she is saying.....
It's hinted many times that Ser Meryn didn't get his position in the Kingsguard because of his skills. Every other swordsman in the city knows this, and even Tyrion belittles him.
Meryn Trant is really as weak as they say lol , Sansa was a pampered lady for her whole life , probably have never felt pain, those slaps barely affected her
Adel Sabet ... How can you treat people like that and live when you try to walk 'cross the street' ?, the guy who played Joffrey may have actually needed a 'King's Guard' during day to day activities.
ThePabloG30 He says people were friendly to him lol maybe because he lives in Ireland. If he were american, idk what people would do here...I mean we riot when out favorite team loses or wins.
The Hound might just be the only GoT character with intelligence, bravery, strength and a code of honor; even if it's his own code. He really seems to me like a true paladin -- lawful evil.
A year late for this comment, I disagree Strength, yeah but the rest? idk He ran away from the battle of blackwater bay, what bravery is that? (idc about trauma he still ran away) Afterwards saying fuck the king, a king he is currently serving, what honor is that? And intelligence? idk man, he relies more on instincts than intelligence He's not even lawful, he's not even evil. Like the previous comments, he's more of a chaotic neutral who takes any side depending on his situation with barbaric or unlawful ways
Lawful evil would be Tywin, in Starks perspective. Lawful good -Jon, Greyworm Lawful neutral -Littlefinger or Varys or maybe Tyrion too? Chaotic good - Dany Chaotic evil -Mad King, Ramsey
She takes the beating like a boss not because she is emotionally traumatized but because she is a very stoic and resilient individual. proof is right after the double slap, she is already figure out away to kill Jeoffrey on the spot. She is not traumatized at all, she is stoic and resilient!
Phelton Phive She was angry. Nothing hurts you when you're angry. I remember being so infuriated with my mom, and when she slapped me, I just stared at her. No pain. And another thing is that she expected him to slap her, her mind was ready for the slap in a split second, that's why she didn't react to it much. Our brains work in wonderful ways don't they?
"And as soon as you've had your blood I'll put a son in you." ... "Mother says that shouldn't be long." Just casually talking about how you're going to impregnate you fiancée after her period is over... No big deal...
I always interpret Sansa's non-reaction to being slapped in 2 parallel ways 1) a slap in the face is peanuts compared to the trauma of witnessing her beloved father's execution ordered by her future husband 2) she is so filled with rage at Joffrey for what he did she barely feels it, because her anger is so intense
The moment she accepted to look at her father's head was the moment she actually started to play the game of thrones. You see it in her words "How long do I have to look" "If it pleases you your grace" "Or maybe he'll give me yours" She has the wildness of North in her!
m a r i a h Yeah. Like, Robert Englund is one of the sweetest, nicest men ever, but when he plays Freddy Krueger he somehow transform himself into a purely evil bastard. Uh....no pun intended.
I wonder what would have happened if Ned had simply left King's Landing, joined forces with Stannis and had united the whole North to overthrow Joffrey.
TheDeralte They would win in a landslide victory. The North and Stannis united would be invicible and if Renly had given into Stannis and had the tyrells backing him well yeah the Lannisters would be wiped out from existence.
Plus the fact that the writers decided to turn her into an absolute pyschopath over night. Sure she's been brutal and cold since season 2, but she still had morals in season 6 yet somehow since returning home she's a maniac who threatens to murder her sister.
Enma Enigma no Sansa had a chance to get herself killed here that’s why the hound stopped her... if she killed the king she would’ve been killed 100% that’s exactly why arya could never survive what Sansa did arya would have tried to kill Joffrey or Cersei every chance she got and would’ve been killed
@@kdvn1 Yeah, but she didn't care? Not at that moment. Just watching him die before she met her end would've thrilled her deeply I'm sure. But after this, she doesn't do something that drastic again.
TheWolves24 yeah I know but she was doing it out of grief her father was just killed and she felt helpless so she was ready to give up.. I don’t think she actually wanted to die she just felt like she couldn’t do anything else - and yeah she never did anything drastic after that because in season 2 u see she adapted to the politics and playing the game like going along with what ppl say and making sure she does not seem like a threat and she manipulates Joffrey multiple times to either save a person or try to get him to kill himself - one example is during the black water battle and she told him her brother goes where the fighting is thickest she was convincing Joffrey to do that so he’d hopefully die so in a way she did continue to do drastic things it just couldn’t be obvious so she wouldn’t get caught
I going to say this again, I'm telling you, Sansa is going to come out the best of all her Siblings. While she didn't learn to fight or gained visions, she learned something much more powerful. She learned how to survive. She studied under the unwilling toolage of Cersei, and she learned how to be a woman in a man's world.
This whole scene was a fucking disgrace : Sadistic Joffrey putting Honorable Ned's head on a stick and letting pedophile sadist Trant beat up sweet Sansa. Only good things Sansa replying Joffrey and the Hound helping her.
That's what made it so powerful. Over the span of less than three minutes we get detailed characterization of three different characters: we learn exactly how absolutely ruthless and deranged Jeoffrey really is, that even Sansa has some very specific limits to her apparently neverending tolerance for pain and humiliation, and that deep down Hound is very compassionate even if he doesn't want others to think that. Pure cinematic gold.
I love how The Hound always stand by Sansa's side and always there to defend and help her for some reason.. But it's also kinda weird bcs it makes the fans want Sansa and Sandor as a couple. Meanwhile Sandor is probably just as old as her father
It seems to be more that Sandor doesn't like people using power they didn't earn and don't deserve picking on those weaker, probably sees a lot of his brother in Joffrey
Brilliant acting here... her empty eyes, her voice, everything is perfect about that scene. It's like she's numb from too much pain - the way she stares at the heads makes me shiver every time, you can literally see something breaking in her.
It is amazing how Joffrey was obident to his mother “My mother tells me a King should never strike his lady”, then he finds a way to go around the rule.
"Or maybe he will give me yours." That right there tells you that Sansa has a fighting spirit. The slap that she takes and still standing confirms it. Sansa being naive is because she did not understand how the real world works. Seeing her father killed and most of her family were murdered made her realize that she had to be strong. Septa Mordane told Sansa that it's important to know where you are from. Sansa is from the North. And the North remembers.
1:48 First appareance of the Wolf Blood. Remember what Eddard said to Arya : "You have a wildness in you, child. 'The wolf blood,' my father used to call it. Lyanna had a touch of it, and my brother Brandon more than a touch."
MrTermiOne it wasn’t the first appearance. wolf blood is bravery, strength. Sansa showed that when she begged for her father’s life in front of hundreds of people who call for her family’s head.
I knew Sansa will become stronger when I watched this scene : handles some slaps like a rock, the look she has and the wish to kill Joffrey. Alot of people still underestimate her
all things considered Sansa is probably the toughest Stark. Consider: RICKON *rimshot* ROBB nice kid, has guts, would do great in normal fantasy but ultimately all he manages to do is remind us that Game of Thrones is not normal fantasy BRAN magic powers and all + steps up to the plate when he has to, but so far basically everything he's done has been thanks to people who are braver, more selfless, and/or smarter than him ARYA hard AF, but got there thanks to levels of luck + natural talent + positive role models that Sansa could only dream of SANSA survived years of unspeakable physical + emotional trauma to become one of the two or three most powerful women in Westeros basically thanks to nothing but natural cunning and a boatload of sheer motherfucking grit.
1:50 and for the first time you get a glimpse of the direwolf in this previously flibbertigibbet little girl-- a preview of the iron-willed woman who will emerge from all her suffering.....
You know this is when I start to like her. The whole first book and season she is shockingly shallow and petty. In the books anyway Arya heeds her father advice and tries to make common cause with her sister, to which Sansa responds meanly. After this her world view is shattered, and she starts to learn more truths and become stronger. Now she is just as likeable as Arya to me. I hate to say it but Ned's death was the best thing to happen to her
"Sansa responds meanly" Well Arya's antics got her wolf killed. A part of her as much as ghost and summer were a part of jon and bran, and Arya literally said she wanted to "kill Sansa" or soemthing vut later admits she didn't mean it. So sansa's rejection of her advances isn't mean at all. It's very much earned
Sansa had nerves of steel from the get go, it just took her a while to fully realise it and utilise it. The way she turned up the dial to stone cold when she said 'or maybe he'll bring me yours' was truly a sign of things to come.
Its scary how such a good and sweet person like Sansa got so fucking destroyed emotionally that she turned into a monster in this scene, her mad stare at the spike heads... I thought she was gonna push Joffrey, take the sword of the guard on his back, kill 1 or maybe 2 guards and then die, or get subdued. I mean, rage attacks and adrenaline can make you do that, even if you are a little girl...
Hearing Sansa say to Joffrey that maybe her brother will give her Joffrey's head is so satisfying. It's the first time she actually stands up to him without being afraid.
"Or maybe he'll give me yours." I remember how astounded I was the first time I heard Sansa's answer, because I didn't expect she'd be so sassy at that moment. I mean, the girl just saw her father being executed then found out the same happened to Septa Mordane who carried her upbringing out; she didn't only lose people she held dear, she also lost her points of reference. But still, she managed to burn the lil inbred prick then kept a straight face after having been slapped. That's my girl!
This scene was such a kick in the gut. I mean, seeing perhaps the most loved character being killed in the last episode was bad enough but then showing us the decapitated head of said character? Brutal. It’s horrible to see poor Ned like that.
I really overlooked Sansa on my first viewing of the series... and therein lies her power as a character. People overlook and underestimate her. Even as a naive child she had a lot of fight in her, and in hindsight this scene was very telling.
Because she's the real reason for which Ned's plan to take Joffrey, Myrcella, Tommen and Cersei under his custody and give Stannis the throne is discovered. She run off to Cersei the moment Ned talks to her about leaving King's Landing. Sure, Littlefinger could've betrayed Ned even if Cersei didn't suspect a thing, but she's the reason why Ned is summoned sooner then expected.
Andxel2 Bullshit. It was Renly's idea to take the royal children into custody to seize the throne (and for himself, not for his brother Stannis), and Ned declined him saying that he would not attack innocent children nor would he plot about it while his friend (Robert) was living his last hours on Earth. Ned was going to send his two daughters back to Winterfell as he exposed the truth behind Joffrey, Myrcella and Tommen's lineage to the whole world and claimed Stannis Baratheon to be the one true king of Westeros.
***** I guess she knows in the game of thrones you win or you die. When you want to live you'll do what it takes. It's loyalty that can get you killed.
I really dislike Sansa for the first book and season. She acts really immature and selfishly, while Arya listens to her father and tries to be adult. However as soon as Ned dies Sansa grows as a character. Now I like her as much as Arya, but in the beginning... she was awful.
Strangled internally while near nobody except your parents wants to help you, and before you can put the uncle who treated you like the piece of shit you were in his place is pretty harsh. Lol kidding. He should have been eaten by Nymeria, and Ghost, and Summer, and Shaggydog, and a couple of Thenns. And hodor.
It's kinda nice to see Sansa do nothing but "get stronger" in a way because she "does nothing" and only watches the people around her. I hope she puts what she has learned to good use and becomes more cunning as time passes. It is fairly obvious she has matured and endures things better nowadays..
Well look at her now! (Have you seen season 6 episodes?) She's like a boss and so determined to do what she thinks should be done. I'm proud of her. If she keeps going like that, she's gonna be one of my favorite characters :) Or maybe she is because Arya is having a bit boring plot line right now but I believe it will change soon.
Not many people get that. So many saying she progressed on S4... S6. But she was always pretending and her enemies unconciously always thought her how to survive, right, but the luck was never on her side. Hope she embrace all of that and make it something better. Remember what it means to be a Stark. Not something like Cersei 2.0 that some want to tease.
RockyJames121 and you know this how? are you the great author of this series who wrote the books that the show was based on?!?!? No... all I see I some random dude. The author created the story, so only he knows. Not you.
Wow, props to this kid. In Batman he was just sort of... annoying. In this... holy hell, I'm imagining deaths for this kid that would make Tarantino turn green.
jofferey: "my mother tells me a king should never strike his lady, ser meryn" meryn: "but your grace, shes too old!" ....... meryn: "hmmmm... your grace you smell wonderfull, are you using baby oil?"" *meryn looks at jofferey sensually* *Let's Get It On - Marvin Gaye starts playing* *jofferey gets what he deserves*
It’s so weird how even in this scene, Cersei was weirdly trying to help Sansa some by telling Joffrey that he shouldn’t hit his lady or queen. Because she knew how horrible he was, sadly she forgot about bodyguards and such. Cersei and Sansa’s dynamic was so interesting, it reminds me of Arya and Twyin. We got to see a nicer side of those two characters through the Stark sisters.
it means that when she has her first period she will then be fertile and he will get her pregnant. At that time Sansa wasn´t a "woman" yet because she wasn´t menstruating.
Bastian Lorraine Oh Ok! XD Interesting! She obviously looks someone who has reached her puberty. It is Joffery whose balls doesn't seem to have dropped. Maybe he should wait for that.
If anyone hasn’t read the books, I’d seriously recommend it. The characters are sooo much more fleshed out. Even extremely minor characters like Septa Mordane have so much depth.
See this what people who hate Sansa don't see in her. I look upon her with a little bit of condensation as well, she can be quite dumb; it feels like she never learned 'the don't judge a book by its cover, lesson from all of this. But just consider the amount of ovaries(well she doesn't have balls does she) it takes to do this. She's around 13-14 and everything just got taken away from her and she has the courage to stand tall.
I actually also really hate people that go on the internet and whine about spoilers! I mean, HELLO?! It's the fucking internet people!!! If you don't want spoilers, watch the series on Netflix or iTunes...what the hell are you doing HERE?!
God! When she looked up at the end and fought back tears. I truly started to root for Sansa then. The look in her eye as she went to take Joffery down. I knew she had fight in her!
From about 0:20 - 1:34 Ser Meryn never blinks he just moves his eyes from Joff to Sansa. It’s a nice detail to his sadistic stone cold complete lack of compassion that he has.
When Jeoffrey try to move towards Sansa, she looks at him fiecely like i ain't afraid of you. Sansa is no fighter but i am pretty sure she thinks she can take down Jeoffrey!
I always wondered back then why he slapped her twice like that. After watching season 6 its as bronn said he's better at beatin little girls than fighting men 😂
Sansa receives 2 slaps from a guy bigger than her, takes it like a boss.

+Daniel C i love how the hound stop her
Cersei would plant her head on a spike.
Daniel C more like would die;being tiny she would need all her body to be able to push joffrey off
"Or maybe he'll give me yours."
I kinda wish it was Sansa who killed Joffrey at the Purple Wedding.
Would it have been predictable? Yes
Would it have been extremely gratifying?: HELL YES!
Who says it wasn't? Remember, Martin has stated that Sansa is not a reliable narrator. Perhaps she has been up to a lot more than we realize, or than she is saying.....
+Luis Teba That's very unlikely.
+Syryu It's cool. There's still a chance she'll be the one to kill Ramsay, and that's going to be so much more satisfying.
+Mr33500 Perhaps, but there are a lot of holes in the Joffrey poisoning scene.
+Hawley Griffin The hole in Cersei's heart
"and you're a grub in fancy armor, who's better at beating little girls than fighting men"
+WillRock07 Bronn's the best.
If we were to pin a boywhore and Sansa, who would win? I'm curious.
Ser Meryn is a Kingsguard. Kingsguard are the elite of the elite. I sure wouldn't want to face him 1v1. It would surely be a quick death.
It's hinted many times that Ser Meryn didn't get his position in the Kingsguard because of his skills. Every other swordsman in the city knows this, and even Tyrion belittles him.
Arya had no problem with the pedophile.
Meryn Trant is really as weak as they say lol , Sansa was a pampered lady for her whole life , probably have never felt pain, those slaps barely affected her
Julian Zhang A kid with sword could kill 3 meryn trants
Julian Zhang it hurt her badly she just didn't give in.
Julian Zhang Actually he went easy on her because she's his favorite age.
***** Shut up! Whenever I'm wearing my armor and carry my big fucking sword I'm invincible.
abdallaha92 No they can kill 3 Me's not 10. 😂
Love the way Sansa calmly walked over to toss him off!
Like a wolf jumping on her prey. ;)
In the UK that has a completely different meaning 😂
@@TheRuddster95 geeze I could take a wild guess with the context off 😂
@@TheRuddster95 I was going to say the same thing 😂😂

Adel Sabet ... How can you treat people like that and live when you try to walk 'cross the street' ?, the guy who played Joffrey may have actually needed a 'King's Guard' during day to day activities.
ThePabloG30 He says people were friendly to him lol maybe because he lives in Ireland. If he were american, idk what people would do here...I mean we riot when out favorite team loses or wins.
I was thinking about Joffrey losing his head.
push him to the edge, all his friends are dead...
The Hound might just be the only GoT character with intelligence, bravery, strength and a code of honor; even if it's his own code. He really seems to me like a true paladin -- lawful evil.
he is clearly not evil, he is broken, so, maybe more like chaotic good.
Svart Hert You're sarcastic, aren't you?
He reminds me of Guts from Berserk.
A year late for this comment, I disagree
Strength, yeah but the rest? idk
He ran away from the battle of blackwater bay, what bravery is that? (idc about trauma he still ran away)
Afterwards saying fuck the king, a king he is currently serving, what honor is that?
And intelligence? idk man, he relies more on instincts than intelligence
He's not even lawful, he's not even evil. Like the previous comments, he's more of a chaotic neutral who takes any side depending on his situation with barbaric or unlawful ways
Lawful evil would be Tywin, in Starks perspective.
Lawful good -Jon, Greyworm
Lawful neutral -Littlefinger or Varys or maybe Tyrion too?
Chaotic good - Dany
Chaotic evil -Mad King, Ramsey
The subtle heart of the hound..
ISetYourFaceOnFire gotta love the guy
I just realized your name LMAO, talking about the Hound 😂
he knew exactly what was about to happen
She takes the beating like a boss not because she is emotionally traumatized but because she is a very stoic and resilient individual. proof is right after the double slap, she is already figure out away to kill Jeoffrey on the spot. She is not traumatized at all, she is stoic and resilient!
She's a *Stark*, afterall. ;)
*archaic literary:*
- stiff, rigid, or incapable of movement.
Phelton Phive
She was angry.
Stark actually means strong in German and Old english
She fainted right after his father's head rolled over the floor. The trauma got her resilient.
@@chips493 She was a 13 year old girl when she saw her father being beheaded.
"And as soon as you've had your blood I'll put a son in you." ... "Mother says that shouldn't be long."
Just casually talking about how you're going to impregnate you fiancée after her period is over... No big deal...
He doesn't mean after her period, he means once she's had her first ever period. She hasn't had that yet hence she can't bear children...
He means after she's had her first period which will be a sign that she is ready and fit to bear his children. They can't marry until she "flowers".
They actually meant they were waiting for chokeffrey to get his period...
Was I the only one to laugh at "Mother says that shouldn't be long."?
*Wink-wink drunk Robert 2 seconds sex*
I always interpret Sansa's non-reaction to being slapped in 2 parallel ways
1) a slap in the face is peanuts compared to the trauma of witnessing her beloved father's execution ordered by her future husband
2) she is so filled with rage at Joffrey for what he did she barely feels it, because her anger is so intense
Sansa took that beating like a champion while Joffrey whimpered like a baby when his mommy hit him.
The moment she accepted to look at her father's head was the moment she actually started to play the game of thrones.
You see it in her words
"How long do I have to look"
"If it pleases you your grace"
"Or maybe he'll give me yours"
She has the wildness of North in her!
It's so weird that Jack Gleeson - Joffrey's actor is actually a cuddly, lovable little sweetheart in real life!
Really, why is it weird? it's called acting for a reason.
Why is everyone so surprised when actors are actually acting.
DavidSSabb Because some actors are so good that they become a completely different person when they're in a role. It's fascinating, really.
m a r i a h Yeah. Like, Robert Englund is one of the sweetest, nicest men ever, but when he plays Freddy Krueger he somehow transform himself into a purely evil bastard. Uh....no pun intended.
I heard he even got hated a lot in real life for portraying a television character so well.
I wonder what would have happened if Ned had simply left King's Landing, joined forces with Stannis and had united the whole North to overthrow Joffrey.
TheDeralte I think that was somewhat his plan, but he got stopped obviously
The Red Viper Ned planned to take Cersei and her children as hostages and seat Stannis on the Iron Throne.
No, I don't think as hostages. But more that they should just leave the city
TheDeralte They would win in a landslide victory. The North and Stannis united would be invicible and if Renly had given into Stannis and had the tyrells backing him well yeah the Lannisters would be wiped out from existence.
Then the story would be so lame xD
This scene is just a prime example of how far Sansa has come as a person & why i think Arya is in the wrong for what she was saying to her in 7 ep 6.
Plus the fact that the writers decided to turn her into an absolute pyschopath over night. Sure she's been brutal and cold since season 2, but she still had morals in season 6 yet somehow since returning home she's a maniac who threatens to murder her sister.
Sansa had an opportunity to end Joffrey there
Enma Enigma no Sansa had a chance to get herself killed here that’s why the hound stopped her... if she killed the king she would’ve been killed 100% that’s exactly why arya could never survive what Sansa did arya would have tried to kill Joffrey or Cersei every chance she got and would’ve been killed
She studied under the unwilling toolage of Cersei, and she learned how to be a woman in a man's world.
the dead look in her eyes gets me every time man. That some quality acting right there
I like how the hound understands Sansa's intention and stops her.
1:22 Ice cold stare. Damn.
I don’t know why people say Sansa didn’t get “tough” until season 4. She was totally willing to push Joffrey over that ledge.
And she survives all the years being stuck in the enemy's house. She's a tough politician and survival
Sansa summoning the strength to look at her father's head gave me chills on second watch. Even Joffrey was surprised .
In the books she says he can make me look at them (heads) but he can't make me see them. It shows Sansa's inner strength.
Even as just a head on a spike, Ned is more of a man than Joffery ever was.
I don't blame you, Sansa, but the Hound just saved your life.
Twice
This whole scene was a fucking disgrace : Sadistic Joffrey putting Honorable Ned's head on a stick and letting pedophile sadist Trant beat up sweet Sansa. Only good things Sansa replying Joffrey and the Hound helping her.
You do understand that's the point...
FUTURE QUEEN IN THE NORTH
No way
abhijith sony yes way
omg you were right..
Damn dude !!
Someone call Raven cus this one is also psychic
I love how The Hound always stand by Sansa's side and always there to defend and help her for some reason.. But it's also kinda weird bcs it makes the fans want Sansa and Sandor as a couple. Meanwhile Sandor is probably just as old as her father
It seems to be more that Sandor doesn't like people using power they didn't earn and don't deserve picking on those weaker, probably sees a lot of his brother in Joffrey
Sandor is 28.
@@deserayjones606 and Sansa is 11... so still 17 year old diffrence
@@deserayjones606In the books yes. The show has aged people up. He’s probably late 30’s in the show.
After the recent episode, Sansa REALLY does not get a fucking break. Holy shit lol.
SpaceCowboyTV Arya is genuinely the strongest character in this whole show. If I was her I would've killed myself already tbh.
Sansa's eyes at 1:50 say what we're all thinking. "The rat S.O.B. must die."
She and Arya should have both been allowed to kill him.
Damn. She was so close to making sure Joeffrey died in season 1.
I knew Sansa will become stronger when I watched this scene : handles some slaps like a rock, the look she has and the wish to kill Joffrey. Alot of people still underestimate her
all things considered Sansa is probably the toughest Stark. Consider:
RICKON
*rimshot*
ROBB
nice kid, has guts, would do great in normal fantasy but ultimately all he manages to do is remind us that Game of Thrones is not normal fantasy
BRAN
magic powers and all + steps up to the plate when he has to, but so far basically everything he's done has been thanks to people who are braver, more selfless, and/or smarter than him
ARYA
hard AF, but got there thanks to levels of luck + natural talent + positive role models that Sansa could only dream of
SANSA
survived years of unspeakable physical + emotional trauma to become one of the two or three most powerful women in Westeros basically thanks to nothing but natural cunning and a boatload of sheer motherfucking grit.
its crazy to see how many starks survived.
Sandor is way more good hearted in the tv series than in the books.
yes he's a little softened. Trying to remember if he "asked" Sansa for a song on the show.
stryker1121
He did, but they deleted the scene.
I love, love, LOVE the fire in her eye's. After she looks down and starts walking towards Joffrey. It's like bitch I'm coming for you.
1:50 and for the first time you get a glimpse of the direwolf in this previously flibbertigibbet little girl-- a preview of the iron-willed woman who will emerge from all her suffering.....
did the hound knew sansa was gonna push joffrey off the ledge?
+A Tem I kinda think he knew
+A Tem no he thinks sansa is actually a mutant with wingsand she;s going to do leap of faith and fly to the air while screaming "EXPECTRO PATRONUM"
your point being? that is obvious?
+A Tem Of course, Hound is a killer, he knew it the moment she walked towards Joffrey, why would she walk to him? To kiss him?
+Rodrigo sure! they are engaged fter all
1:21 The she wolf doesn't bow down to the opinions of a mewling kitten!
Joffrey was always gonna kill Ned. That guy was a real jerk.
Bruh like I know Sansa was traumatized in this scene but the way they mad her look for this scene was on point!!! The makeup artist was brilliant!
I hate to say it but Ned's death was the best thing to happen to her
"Sansa responds meanly"
Well Arya's antics got her wolf killed.
THIS…THIS was the moment that changed sansa forever.
JACK GLEESON=BEST ACTOR IN THE ENTIRE SERIES
Probably true
+France Magadia alfie Allen says other wise along with Nicolaj Coster waldau and Lena Heady
The810kid Then who is?
Charles dance> anybody in GOT
AD Active man I miss his phenomenal acting
Hearing Sansa say to Joffrey that maybe her brother will give her Joffrey's head is so satisfying. It's the first time she actually stands up to him without being afraid.
"Or maybe he'll give me yours."
I remember how astounded I was the first time I heard Sansa's answer, because I didn't expect she'd be so sassy at that moment.
Tell me again why people hate Sansa?
Yeah that's not applicable now, only a book scene.
Fuck, I wish Sansa had just pushed him off.
I guess *he* didn't have a clean death. ;)
What a nice kid, I hope he enjoys his wedding...
Joffrey got off way too easy. His death should have been MUCH more memorable.
And hodor.
Couldn't agree more.
Carson John agreed especially for Hodor.
When ever i feel this way i just remember the imp slaps and his mom getting raped by his corpse :P
Carson John Hodor
My mother tells me a King should never strike his lady... So I'll just have the guy who is way bigger and stronger then me do it. Lol
Well, look at her now!
I don't discard Sansa but I still prefer Arya, hands down.
Sansa was about to show Joffrey why they call it “Kings Landing”
1:55 goddamnit Sandor, Sansa could've pushed Joffrey off :/

I guess Joffrey's right about giving Ned a merciful death. I mean, he could have handed him over to Ramsay Snow or something.
He could have simply gone along with what Cersei and Sansa had in mind though.

Was that season 6 Sansa shimmering through? So happy she finally is the strong woman she was always meant to be.
One of my favourite characters. So tough after being treated so badly
She should have listened to her sister. Arya was right about Joffrey
"Or maybe he'll give me yours" AWESOME line
"And a soon as you have your blood I´ll put a son on you..." Smooth, Joffrey, smooth.
What did he mean by saying 'you have your blood' ?
it means that when she has her first period she will then be fertile and he will get her pregnant. At that time Sansa wasn´t a "woman" yet because she wasn´t menstruating.
Bastian Lorraine
Oh Ok! XD Interesting! She obviously looks someone who has reached her puberty. It is Joffery whose balls doesn't seem to have dropped. Maybe he should wait for that.
totally and compleatly agree
***** Sofie Turner was not 13. Sansa was but Sofie was not.
If anyone hasn’t read the books, I’d seriously recommend it. The characters are sooo much more fleshed out. Even extremely minor characters like Septa Mordane have so much depth.
In Books , She unfocuses/blurrs Her Eyes.
God I can't even imagine looking at my father's head it would kill me. Sansa is so strong
I love how after she says "maybe he'll give me yours" she turns and looks him dead in the eyes with no fear or regret, like "Yeah bitch, I said it"
-you promised to be mercyful
-i was. a gave you clean 240p
To be fair Joffrey was right, he did give Ned a clean death. Knowing Joffrey he could've done much worse.
Who's Joffrey?
***** Nope I'm not trolling. I can't names sometimes, so the little blonde shit *is* Joffrey. I fucking hate that kid.
He wasn't thinking about giving him a clean death, it was a byproduct of getting to humiliate & tarnish the reputation of the honorable Ned Stark.
Sandor clegane is the only real knight of game of throne
the mountain is better
And yet, he never wanted to be knighted because he thought all knights were bastards. The irony...
Brienne? She's basically the most stereotypical knight there is.
Brienne and Loras say hi
From about 0:20 - 1:34 Ser Meryn never blinks he just moves his eyes from Joff to Sansa. It’s a nice detail to his sadistic stone cold complete lack of compassion that he has.
When Jeoffrey try to move towards Sansa, she looks at him fiecely like i ain't afraid of you. Sansa is no fighter but i am pretty sure she thinks she can take down Jeoffrey!
Even in a fight she would be able to take him out. He's a wuss.
That moment she was ready to push Jeoffrey gave me chill, brilliant acting from Sophie Turner
I always wondered back then why he slapped her twice like that. After watching season 6 its as bronn said he's better at beatin little girls than fighting men 😂
1:33 Backhand, Front-hand
She was a child in the books, only 12 years old
"You'll be needing that again."
Damn. At that moment Sansa knew she had to survive.
