Is the price shown for the David website per person or the party? For example, I was looking at Santoga and it came up with a price, but I didn’t know if that was for the room for two people or the price was per person for the dates?
The one thing that none of these videos cover is what happens after your request is accepted. Yes, I know you pay the balance, but apparently the room isn’t assigned? And it’s not “official” yet because the owner has to actually book it? If true, that’s very scary. Could you please explain that part? And I’ve also read that DVC Rental Store doesn’t require you to pay the full balance upon booking. Only 25% and then the balance 75 days prior. Plus they have a full cancellation policy. Have you used them? I haven’t used either, so I’m wondering how they compare.
That is not the case - once your request is accepted you are all set, the owner doesn't have to book it. David's does the booking for the owner. And David's now has a cancellation policy (which is a great change). I haven't used DVC Rental Store before so I'm not familiar with their policies on payment etc.
Technically renting your points is not allowed and theres talk of dvc not allowing it soon because there are people booking with no intent on staying and its causing problems

Yes! It is - we use David’s all the time and they’ve been around for over 20 years
