- The incredible 72stagpower collection is bringing back the spirit of the Jägermeister Racing Team! Join me for a guided tour to learn some of the history, stories, and discover the incredible cars wearing the famous bright orange livery. There are many private garages that are more special than this!
Founded back in 1972, the Jägermeister Racing Team operated across numerous different racing series and classes but always with the famous bright orange livery. Over 100 cars in total wore the liveries of Ecki Schimpf's team, a number of which are now brought back into the newly forming collection of 72StagPower where we are fortunate to be shown around by Ecki's son, Oliver.
In the garage itself we can see everything from the Porsche 911 RSR, 935, 956, Astra DTM, March F2, March F1, 914, BMW 320 Group 5, 3.0 CSL, Brabham BT38, 911 GT3, 962 and Ford Capri. Cars that competed from Formula 1 to Group 5, to every other category you can think of! These are cars that were driven by some of the most famous drivers of all time; Jochen Mass, Hans Stuck, Stefan Bellof, Graham Hill, Niki Lauda, Derek Bell and many more.
A huge personal thanks to Ecki and Oliver for hosting this visit to their truly breathtaking private garage, it's really something amazing to have been lucky enough to see. For some non-german viewers: When he says "works cars" he's talking about "Werkswagen" which is german for factory cars.
It means the same in English, but still, good to clarify for those not familiar with it.

Wow. Favorites are the RSR, 320 and 962 but every car is simply incredible. The rally decals on the Capri are so cool. The 935 slant nose just looks incredibly racy. The batmobile CSL... just incredible. Vintage racing cars are my favorite museum pieces: built to a purpose, everything is a one-off, aggressive stances, cool liveries, just the best. If you even get a chance once we're out of this mess, go check out the Revs collection in Naples, Florida. Incredible collection of Porsche and vintage race cars.

Very good video showing the collection. One slip; you said the Brabham BT 38 was F1, it's a Formula 2 car. I was amazed to see the original BT38-001 as I owned in in 1977 -78 and my partner Dan Hartill converted it (with my help) to a single seat Can Am car called the Osprey SR-1. It was just a tub with suspension and a cracked rear subframe when we acquired it. I was contacted several years ago when Jagermeister was tracking it down.

It would’ve been very cool to see a professional film crews take on this garage. You said imagine walking in on those cars with the lights dimmed. I could see it. A professional film crew could’ve made one hell of a visually stunning video.
