  • Since I was 17, my first vehicle, I’ve been trying to burn my AC compressors up by turning them on when I purchased the vehicle and never turning them off. Are used to drive 100,000 miles a year.. have never been successful at burning up a compressor even after 450,000 miles. On any of my vehicles.. in the last 41 years of owning vehicles

I think this is motivation for me to have the AC on my CRV serviced the correct way.

I just had an AC compressor lock up on my brother's 03 Grand Marquis with 459,000 miles in the hot south with 20,000 idle hours(he has lived in this car 4 years)...the compressor had been "growling" for the past 8 months, but still ice cold...it was still the factory virgin AC that had been evacuated and "re-charged" two times since new and never opened...I can't wait to "autopsy" it to see what happed...it will spin 3/4 of one turn...
Great Video!!! hopefully your vent temps will get back down to 38 F under the same ambient/humidity/sun load conditions....

@@freddyhollingsworth5945 yeah some cars are really lucky very little service and they live forever
I’m suspecting, but I got a test just replaced my blower motor and I was wondering if it was actually flowing more air than the original OEM blower motor .
      This would be slightly higher

Can you explain the process of purging nitrogen when you open up the system?

@@advancedleveldiagnostics after removing the refrigerant the system will be under a vacuum
Add nitrogen to bring it up to about one or two psi then you can open the system to remove parts
