What a beauty. My brother scored a magazine story 1968 Chevelle Concours 307 with the light green interior and that same light green color, I forget the name, that Chevrolet made back then. 70,000 some odd original miles in 1987. Steering wheel automatic shift. All original mint condition. An old lady had the original title from a car dealer in Elizabeth, New Jersey. The trunk spare tire was orginal. Jack instruction sticker on lid. Every thing. Garge kept and driven in town the entire time. She lived alone and had finally bought a new car. I spotted it in the local paper and it was a new ad, for him and told him to go look at it. Had to drag him one day out and about in my car. He complained it was a waste of time as they only wanted 1500 dollars for it and it's probably recked on the side not shown in the crappy classified ad. Or rusted out. A billion miles bla bla. When she came out and opened the side of the garage with the unicorn. After observing the meticulous kept flower's everywhere and property in general. I gave my brother that look which he returned the shut up look. I was about to bust open when she invited us in for coffee or tea, after looking at the car. My brother "explained " how he was working for a living and needed a reliable car and only had 900 dollars. Which I happened to know he had 3000 in his pocket and was hunting for a cool good car to drive. After tea and clean conversation and "careful story telling." Something my brother and his blue eyes "are" good at. The devil, my older brother drove it home for 900 dollars, original title in hand after a trip to insurance and DMV. I told him several times if you ever sell, which you shouldn't. Someday this car will be sought after and worth a lot of money when we are old a gray. Sell it to me. So I can put it up. Went into the service not to long after that and he kept it 3 year's. Someone offered him 10, 000 dollar's for it one day and the fool sold it. Like bran new I never forgot it or my fool brother for selling it. Told him you'll never find another one. Rare tilt steering option also if I remember. Today he still regrets it.
My girlfriend in high school had one of these in the early 70s. This was the high point of American auto culture. And this car was one of the greatest muscle cars of all time. An awesome machine!
The owner of the car definitely lives by that motto. That thing sounds mean in person, I'm sure it's a strong runner. Thanks for taking a look my friend!
There was never one true SS. They all had the 396, but the list of available options was tremendous. This particular car has the clock and tach, console with bucket seats correct exhaust tips and a respectable looking retro ac system. I would love to own this car.
It's crazy (IMO), that people pay more for a "TRUE" SS or #s matching, or original, or w/ever the case may be. Quality is quality, and we all know you can get just as much car with a clone, non numbers matching. Hey...whatever floats your boat :)
Wow that's a sweet jet black momma. I had one loved it... Then I woke up 🙃 Darn silly dreams get you every time. Loved to own it. Going to buy a lotto ticket.... 😉😉
Oh my I was getting so excited then saw the red interior and shouted to my wife "get me a plane ticket to St Louis Mo!" Then damn an Auto. crap cant do auto.
very nice, i like the stock look yet some modern polishing and chrome inserts. Please do a video on the white trans am thats behind the red car in the video. thanks
Man I wish I had one of those that's my second muscle car I really want my first is a Nova my dad already put in his will his 1973 Chevy Stingray it's pretty nice I might trade that for a Nova or a Chevelle but that's in a long time now when I start driving and all that awesome video though.

I agree, it really is an awesome machine. 69 and 70 are my two favorite years. Thanks for taking a look at this one!
Probably my favorite vehicle of, “ALL TIME!!!”
My girlfriend in high school had one of these in the early 70s. This was the high point of American auto culture. And this car was one of the greatest muscle cars of all time. An awesome machine!

This might be the best yet!
Glad you like it. Thanks for watching my friend!
Best looking Chevelle body style period
Each to their own... the '66 and '67 years are the ones that are unmatched IMO.
Agreed
@@L72Chevelle427 i like 67 70 69 68 66 in that order. I have a 68 Malibu
My preferences in order are 66/67, 69, 70, and then 68. Never was a big fan of the 70 model like many are - look too bloated IMO.
@@L72Chevelle427 I agree with that. Love the 67 rear lites . You are right the 70 can look mediocre if not dressed right.
It really does sound sweet. Thanks for watching!
Yep, I like this one a lot too. Thanks for checking it out my friend!
Nice looking car - I like the Interior color as well.
Best 3 Years of the Chevelle 1967 1969 1970
Dave S agreed, though I’d add the 1971.
Thanks for checking it out!
We don't usually take them out on the road at that dealership. I'll have more test drives coming up soon from other places though.
Thanks for stopping by, we appreciate it!
Super sharp looking and sounding machine! That gorgeous black paint job alone would have me sold for sure! Good Lord! Lol
70 is still my favorite year, but this is really slick.

I'm glad you like it. Thank you for watching. Just posted a video of another Chevelle that you may find interesting.
I am not into cars but daaamn, that is one sexy car.
WOW! Just WOW! Favorite body style for th Chevelle. And that engine. If this was a four speed. Holyshat, ultimate dream muscle car. Thank you.
I'm glad you like it. It really is an awesome machine.
I would think you're right about that. Although, this one does have a four speed automatic with overdrive, so that helps a bit.
That camshaft is popping 😍
I'm not surprised how fast it got sold. It's a beautiful beast
It's car heaven lol. Seeing some cars in the background that look nice
Glad you like it. Thanks for watching!
I've always like Chevelle's too. My favorite years are 69 and 70.
Thanks for watching Todd!
I’d sell my wife for this, though I’d keep the dog. Great video, greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪
Glad you liked it, thanks for watching!
I'd give my wife for free for that car!

Best hotrod wheels ever!
My dream car.
Why did you say 427 in your description if it's a 396?
Gary Colyer Hi Gary, he explains at 4:09
It's crazy (IMO), that people pay more for a "TRUE" SS or #s matching, or original, or w/ever the case may be. Quality is quality, and we all know you can get just as much car with a clone, non numbers matching. Hey...whatever floats your boat :)
For personal use yes that's true but for investment purposes what will that counterfeit Rolex gain in value? Yup same as the car.
wow , now thats a nice car i could get to like easily , when i was a kid the guy next door had a 70 Beaumont
Chevelle's are good looking cars
I’m going to own a car just like this.💯
It really does have that COPO look...I'm sure it runs similar too.
This is the best channel to see these awesome machines. :-)

Black cars sure look mean when they're clean though.

Beautiful :o Thanks for showing all these classics:)
I do get around a bit :) Thanks for watching!
Nice Straight One...shiney Black with a lil extra horseys too !!!
Best car ever! I used to have one!!
Mine was a straight shift! 4 on the floor!!
Very nice looking car!!
If it has a 400 transmission, why does it has P R N D321?
blackericdenice also has a circle around the D, signifying overdrive. I’m guessing it’s actually a 700R4.
Oh my I was getting so excited then saw the red interior and shouted to my wife "get me a plane ticket to St Louis Mo!" Then damn an Auto. crap cant do auto.
What kind of black paint is that
Thats darth vaders car fast and reliable unbeateable beautyfull car 🤟 love it thanks jeff and Jordan for this wonderfull video

Dude, enjoying your vids. The way you speak. You should be on a tv channel that sells stuff, you might be a big hit like Billy Mayes :P
very nice, i like the stock look yet some modern polishing and chrome inserts. Please do a video on the white trans am thats behind the red car in the video. thanks
Most excellent video
My first car when I was 16

Wow! This car still can't be for sale?
D Fran No, it sold pretty quickly. It was an amazing machine.
@@RamblinAround h
Yeah, it's a shame you couldn't tell me about that one :)
I love the old Chevelle they just look fantastic too bad they don't make the Chevelle anymore:( btw how much did it sell for?
Renzee White they do still make the Chevelle. The name just changed twice since it was just "Chevelle".
Hey man that's a nice ride but that's a 396 not 427
Beautiful ride and that sound.... :)
