I just ordered a new set of spark plugs from brisk ( hard to get in Germany) and also a new set of wire for my ´17 CTS-V hope i will get rid of my misfre
They sure made my car run extremely smooth with zero codes for misfire and throttle response is better than it has ever been!! LET ME KNOW, how your results are!!
Yesterday i changed my spark plugs and wires but i still have a slight rough idle (misfires) in Park and neutral 😢still can see a motion in tachometer needle, i already changed the MAF Sensor and cleaned my throttle body
I was having a misfire due to heat from the oil cooler raising the temperature of the left side of the engine, higher than the right side and 1/7 cylinders. I used Telatemp labels to identify why the two coilpacks were having different dwell times than the other cylinders. I even went as far as closing the gap on those spark plugs to help reduce the triggering of the misfires. So I went with one heat range colder plugs, gapped them differently and used a shielded Katech firesleeves on the plug wires. That seemed to make a difference in reducing the misfires, but it also reduced the power. So now I have removed the heat soaking oil cooler, removed the hot water circuit from the driver's side head, flowing through the oil cooler and then BACK into the lower radiator to waterpump hose... YES, the oil "cooler" hot water goes RIGHT BACK INTO THE ENGINE!! So stay tuned... there is much more to what I am doing with this ZLE! www.labelmaster.com/shop/shipping/damage-indicators/telatemp-temperature-recording-labels/telatemp-temperature-recorder-label-260-f-to-310-f-tm10--5r
Awesome
Sounds great
Thanks! Do you have a Camaro as well?

But i didnt have any CEL or codes (don’t have a Reader that can read a ‘17 Cadillac CTS-V) or loss in power even at wide open throttle
Great video, how bad was your misfire before the swap, I believe my car has a slight misfire at idle but doesn't throw CEL and preforms fine on track.

Which Brisk spark plugs did you use?
RR14S and they performed flawlessly at Road Atlanta this past event. I also saw an increase in MPGs while cruising with the #HotRodDragWeek event.
