- FIRST LOOK: The LX 600 is all new and Lexus wanted to showcase what they could do. On the outside you will discover 24in HRE wheels, titanium exhaust, and tons of carbon fiber aero. On the inside you will be greeted by two-tone leather, 12.3 infotainment system and 8in control panel. Under the hood is a 3.5L twin-turbo V6 mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission and AWD. The LX (Land Cruiser) is the real deal. They are built to last a minimum of 25 years in the worlds harshest condition. The reliability, durability and toughness of these are unmatched.
You can't say the same about your Bronco, Wrangler or Land Rover.

yeah that was right......was right......was...... not anymore.. the new twin turbo v6 is already having problems, toyota will learn their lesson. but its for sure no longer a 25 year vehicle, i used to say exactly that to others before, but not anymore, this ttv6 will not go longer than 5 years and thats if u r very good maintainer, there is a video of some Australian company here on youtube they took apart the complete new land cruiser to the last bolt. watch that and see how much small extra cheap plastic stuff they have packed under the hood. decide for yourself. This is the new business model which you can see in every market and every product, from cell phones to cars to even tractors. Like they limit cell phones by battery life, and then design them so that you cant change it. i mean you can,.. but its more easy just to buy new one.
Thats why electric cars will fail very badly in 10 to 15 years, when they are out of warranty and batteries are dead and then too expansive to replace and it'll be more easier to just buy a new car, paying more money to the vendors,
It all roses for vendors, but prickles (thorns) for consumer... and the sad part is..... consumer is happy with prickles.

It hasn't been been a 'Land Cruiser' since the FJ80. It's been a luxury SUV since then. At least in the US market.

Those HRE Wheels... Wow. We are hoping to move from our GX460 F-Sportish Model to that Nori Green LX FSport but I 100% agree with you on the lack of a panoramic roof and the chrome on the side of the car. Blacking out the chrome is easy but that pana sunroof would look so nice especially with kids sitting in the back and how they can just stare up at the sky. :)
Also, Quad exhausts would look pretty darn good too!

Hey, are you going to do a review for the new 2023 RAV4 soon? I’ve been anxiously waiting for someone to do one since the dealerships have been getting them in the last few days. I’m anxious to hear a car reviewers thoughts on the changes. Especially on the new infotainment system. I’m excited they redid that, for me personally, that’s what was lacking on the 2019-2022’s.
Quad exhaust would have sealed the deal. I've owned 3 LX's and will buy this one for sure. My only pause is the 24" wheels and how that might affect the ride quality. You could always switch those out later though.

Joe and Lori - can you please add more details on what "Urban Edition" is? It does not appear to be an official Lexus version of the LX600, and even my local Lexus dealer had no idea what it was.

I'm new to this channel. While I appreciate the sheer amount of reviews available and the attention to detail in each, I will say that after watching about 10 videos so far, it seems like we're only getting the positive aspects of these vehicles. Raiti doesn't point out many negatives. Overall, it comes off more as a sales pitch than an honest review.

I had two Landcruisers. V8. Underpowered and huge gas guzzlers with terrible range. After driving 2 eco boost pickup this is a wonderful addition. Might as well give up the V8 its simply never coming back ever, likely for all manufacturers. Hybrid will make more power when introduced

I am a Lexus guy since day one and have been driven nothing but Lexus. I currently owning 2 LX 2020 + 1999 (w/ 320k miles). I still want to love 2023 LX-FSport but the after market items did not interest me. Lexus have been play safe and keep it as Lexus. I almost purchase a new FSport one last few weeks but park my 2020 LX next to it and I don’t see much diff. And beside my LX is payoff so it nice not more payment.
Lexus LX is the king of SUV off road and everyday driving and road trip is a plus

Agree 💯 Joe. The only miss on this vehicle is the exhaust. I’d rather have no exhaust tips out back than that lame looking single tailpipe with the cheesy blue tips. And yes, that vehicle at it’s price point should have a panoramic roof.

Agree 100% no silver or chrome when everything is grey, black or carbon..Also still using the rear wiper mount at bottom. This is none to fail faster than top mount and much cleaner look.

In my city the lx 600 F sport has a freaking $60k dealer markup which is ridiculous. The price is $112k but with the markup it's upward $175k

No second row captain's chairs. Absolute fail. Front cupholders should be square instead of circular, my Fiji bottle won't fit in there. Honda's cupholders are better. I thought a side exhaust would be a nice touch on an F-Sport. Is the 3rd row mandatory? Is the center console a "cold box" like in the Land Cruiser? Looks nice but needs some tweaks.
you lost me at FIJI water? Went to Fiji and they laugh at you dopes. They all drink FIJI water but its the real water not this $5 ripoff. truly a failure
