Sorry about that delima! Maybe Cali isn't perfect after all. But then no where is I guess. I'm dealing with way to many rainy days and when it isn't raining it is blowing to hard for the bees to forage. Of course we've some good days but my harvest will be 30 to 50% of last year the way it looks. Give em hell Todd.

@@russellkoopman3004 hey Russell!…my spring was like what you were describing, RAIN, and rain on the weekends !😡. Sorry to hear about your harvest. I may be in the same boat so save some room. My wildflower crop will be coming due here soon and then I will assess how low my yield is vs last year. Thank you for watching!

I watch D-Good Honey, I'm not sure where he is but it's the tropics. He has his metal stand legs standing in oil trays/jugs. The ants cant cross the oil. I'm starting to see wax-moths, I'm going to give eucalyptus oil a try to help keep them out. Blessed Days Todd...

@@dcsblessedbees hey DC! This year has been bad for waxmoth down here too. When the ants ran bees out of colonies, waxmoth would move in after the ants moved out. I have the situation under control now though. I’m sending back your heat!

😢 I use cinnamon and diatomaceous earth, but after a rain the ants return. Frustrating!

@@sarashappyhives1828 hi Sara…I tried DTE and it did have an effect on them, but once the wind started blowing it was game over. I have a handle on them now with those oil traps I get off of eBay. They work great!
