This looks a little like our Indonesian made Panasonic RF-562.
You are correct.
I have both the RF-562,d and the RF-562-DD. Both have been reviewed here on this channel by Tom.

This radio uses an internal ferrite rod antenna for AM, so the telescoping antenna has no effect on that band.
It actually has a good long one inside. So gets excellent reception.

Baijiali makes a replica of this radio that’s DSP.
I’ve seen that brand on 3 different “replicas “ of Panasonic radios.
Todderbert did a review on one recently. He liked it.

I paid $90.oo for this one, a few years ago. The AM [MW] ferrite antenna runs the entire length of the radio. It’s a Beast for reception. And I believe it has a tuned RF-stage as well [ for better reception]. ((It will eventually need a recap/recalibration at some point, but it still works good enough for now.
