I can't go back to my 65" LG C9 OLED for GT7 now... while it looks great on the TV it now feels like I'm just controlling a painting from a distance. It's completely different from being *in* it! Been in VR since 2014 with the rift DK2 but PSVR2 with RE8 and GT7 has given me the best VR fun so far (even better than Alyx on my linked quest2).

@@Hani_Santathat’s my worry. When I switched to wheel, from controller, I was In another world of immersion and can never go back to controller. I just bought gt7 g29 psvr2 and I’m really worried that gt7 in vr, will make using wheel on tv will be like going back to controller. Like, if all my racing games was psvr2 compatible, I wouldn’t be worried but they are not. If I love gt7 I could play for months, daily BUT if vr makes tv play, shit, then I won’t have anything else to play.

Gran Turismo 7 Polyphony should add a spottter, that would be so helpful then we could all lose the Hud in vr, a spooter would be super useful for tyre wear, fuel consumption etc, even weather tips would be more useful than the heads up display.

Got the Yaw VR 2 and Quest 2 for my PC and while I am usually not playing any racing or other car / truck sims, this hooks me in. Even something easy going like Eurotruck Simulator 2 becomes a lot of fun when using a VR headset, a wheel/pedals combination and the Motion Simulator. For ETS2 you definitely need a keyboard and mouse to do the off the road stuff.
The other racing game I tried is Dirt Ralley 2.0 and it has good support for my Wheel (Thrustmaster T300 GT, PS/PC version), so everything can be handeled through that. By gosh, am I bad as a ralley driver, really need to train 😂.

You're still wearing diving glasses, the mura, the graininess, the motion blur. I own the PSVR 2. My advice, just accept it. It is what it is. The more you play it the less you pay attention to those things because your brain starts to block them out. But goodness gracious were we all conned. Let's just be honest. If anybody tells you the PSVR 2 is great they are lying through their teeth. At best, it's decent. It is entry level VR at a very VERY steep price. That's it. I enjoy it. I enjoy it a lot in fact. I am also someone who speaks the truth. I don't sweep things under the rug. I want people to know what they are buying. Because it's not cheap at all. It is very VERY expensive. It is worth more than the PS5 itself. So I just want to make sure people have their expectations of the PSVR 2 in check!!!!!

I hadn't heard that, sounds intriguing. Do you know which categories they'll be introducing?

That driving doesn't look natural. It looks like driving in drunk with rocking chair.

The engine sound is too high in comparison to your voice and gets annoying after a while. Nice video nonetheless.

Haha sorry, I like the sounds of the car too much.

    I did, I'm sending my psvr2 back.
Sorry but people are vastly overhyping VR. I also had a quest 2. And gt7 is more fun on a 2d screen. And Forza 5 is even better.
No where close to being worth the time and the hasel of constantly having to fidle with it, let alone worth the price.
    Psvr 2 thumbs 👎

Proper wheel and pedals ads more realism/immersion then the PSVR2 and Yaw put together.

Idk about that lol, I do plan on upgrading to a Fanatec, but the PSVR2 and the Yaw 2 are an incredible experience

You seemed to have missed the entire point captain copium. Also it's "immersion", just so ya know.

@@RenderedReality To be fair if he's speaking from a simmer pov most simmers only mess with very subtle haptics/motion, while the YAW 2 experience seems more like a "roller coaster" type motion experience. Not trying to slam the YAW 2 in anyway as I think it's a fantastic device but from what I understand expensive motion rigs are attempting to simulate the movements of a vehicle as accurately as possible. By that extension, expensive wheels/pedals are doing the same thing for providing feedback to be a better racer. That being said what you got here is definitely more than ideal for 99% of people who are wanting an "ultimate" VR experience.

The man has a $200 wheel on a $5,000 Yaw Motion Sim.
