We take you with us on a bicycle journey around the world and show it how we see it. We hope to inspire more people to go on great adventure themselves or if they can't, to get a sense of ours.

Iam from morocco 🇲🇦 i just want to say that iran is a great civilisation and its people are respectful and hospitable
Agreed 👍
You should visit Iran. You welcome
Amazing content! keep it up, love from persia ❤
Many mosques in Iran were originally Zoroastrian fire temples or Zoroastrian places of worship. Unfortunately, after the Arab invasion of Iran, they were converted into Islamic mosques. Many people in Iran, especially the younger generation, choose their religion of their own free will, as Cyrus the Great pointed out in his statement that everyone is free to choose their religion.
Thanks! That aligns with the impression we got while in Iran. All the best to you!
Iran on our local news : Iran is Dangerous, Iran Unsafe Country etc etc But UA-cam never lies !!! Beatifful People, Amazing Hospitality, Tnx for all your Iran Vlogs so far !! Greetings from the Netherlands
Well, as we see it, mainstream news focus on issues that are of general interest to large groups of people. We are generally under the impression that what they show is indeed the case, but of course, there are many topics (e.g. the hospitality of Iranians) that are of less interest to many. This can easily create a bias in perception. However, we have no reason to assume the issues we were concerned about from the information we had is not accurate. Iran is, in some ways, indeed a far more dangerous place for tourists than most countries. If not very careful, one can get into very serious trouble easily, even without wrongdoing.
Thanks for your compliments ❤ hope people from all over the world come to Iran and enjoy it
Iranian people appear so lovely and helpful. It's a lesson to us all. Thank you for making those videos.
@alafenetre81 Iran was in many ways an exceptional experience.
Guys you are amazing, there is something different about your videos, very authentic. Also love the fact you put information and political enlightenment in such a tasteful way. Much love and best of luck to you guys. با أرزوی بهترینها براتون ❤
Thank you! We always try to be respectful, but of course we have to tell the whole story.
God bless you...
Stay blessed in Iran...

amazing hospitality - what people ! God Bless-from Ireland ..thank's for the inspiration 🙂.
The hospitality of Iranians is unmatched 🙌 😍
Love to Irland ❤
Guys thanks a lot for visiting my mother land with my kindest regards from the good Ol' Vienna ❤
It was a great pleasure!
Super fascinating! I had a dream about Iran last night. All morning I've been studying up on it. Thanks for the video!
Our pleasure. Iran has been the most interesting country of our journey. You might be interested in the other episodes, which offer a glimpse into the great diversity of the country.
🥹 I’m so blessed that so many people are interested in real Iran and Iranian.
Regarding the lady who said you will act "strangely" in the shrine, I have to remind you that most of us Iranians think they are the ones who behave "strangely". Have a wonderful time!
She is a muslim karen
We call them fati comandos😂
That might very well be the case. However, we assume that the concern is that we irritate believers in their worshipping. In any case, that still was a first for us.
@@AmazingWorldBikeTour Dorud bar shoma! Some worship the truth, and some worship the power! The latter will use every opportunity to show their so-called dominance. The first will take you in like a family member, and show you “the truth”! I am confident you will see more of the first group in your travels.
Kudos to both of you for travelling such long distances by bicycle! Please take care of yourself in the heat. Payande bashid!
Interesting! We rarely ever had the feeling that someone tried to convince us to become Shia, even though some of our hots clearly were fairly devout believers. However, I am a very hard sell. To convince me any god would have to show up in person, no less ;-)
The heat was quite the challenge indeed as you will see in the coming episodes...
@@AmazingWorldBikeTour Happy to hear that! I am glad you made it! Let us know if any god shows up in person. Maybe one of them sees this comment :D
it's good to see some tourists understand reality!
Thanks ☺️
Can’t help but falling in love with the people of Iran! ☺️ I used to have a lady from Iran at work and she was so warm and willing to share. This warmth is well represented in your videos🙏🏼
I got a bit worried when you got sick Matthias. Due to a very negative experience in the past I knew it can have a big impact when you get seriously sick in a country like Iran😧
Looking forward to the next video. I always write that but I mean it!
I’ll go and check if that PayPal option still works 😄 Stay healthy and stay safe 🙏🏼
Thanks Don, as always ☺️
Don't worry, so far Mathias got sick many times, but I didn't get rid of him yet 🤣
The next episode is probably our favorite one of Iran 😉
@@AmazingWorldBikeTour So he’s a sticky stubborn bad boy and very very VERY hard to get rid off 😂
Looking forward to the next one. Hopefully it doesn’t take so long☺️
Unfortunately, it will be another 3 weeks, but it is going to be a long one again 😅
Lovely episode, as usual!
Yay, thank you!
Thank you. We really appreciate hearing that, especially since you are Iranian!
I love that you also refle ting some aspects of political issues of Iran ❤
Thanks. Many people do not like that for several reasons. However, it seems wrong to us not talking about the problems we can see and feel.
چرا از برج میلاد دیدن نکردید؟؟؟
جالب ترین قسمت تهران این برج است
Oh, we didn’t see many things. However, our main goal was extending our Iran visa. We didn’t have much time to see things in Tehran, but we hope to come again in the future!
@@AmazingWorldBikeTour 🥰
The Europeans like desert and think that Persia is a place like desert, but it's wrong that the heartland of Persia is mountain of zagzros and fars province and it's not desert ,actually a climate like Italy or Greece and snowy mountains and green landscape and a four seasons place.good luck and enjoy your trip.
Thanks ☺️ Yes, Iran's landscape is extremely diverse, just like the country itself.
Another absolutely stunning video! So wonderful to see not just the historical places, but the beautiful people you meet every day. Take care.
Thank you 😊 Will do!

It's fascinating to see the reality of life in Iran, due to my passport I'm unlikely to be able to visit any time soon. I've Iranian friends who tell me about the legendary hospitality, it looks like you have been experiencing this! Thanks for sharing your trip so far
We can only hope that the situation will change in the future. However, the hospitality we received is yet to be matched… 😀

It is beautiful to see Iran from you both with the special local music ❤ For me it is the mazing to see Iran after 40 years.
Thanks for appreciating!
So bold of you to bice to isfahan in summertime ❤
Let’s call it what it was. Stupid 🤣 But we’re glad we did it!
You guys are legends! I'm from Iran but cycling through deserts of Isfahan in those extremely dangerous roads, I can't even think about. I hope Mattias get well very soon
that is safe. but the roads are fucking inexhaustible.
Thank you. I was fine two days later. It was probably mainly exhaustion. From Isfahan we then went east to Yazd 😅
To be honest, Iran has comparably good roads. The trucks can be a little terrifying though 😅
You are two beautiful souls and I wish you well to continue touring around my beautiful country. Thanks for acquiring accurate information about the places and the people you visit. You know where to blur the videos and where to cut them off to protect people's identity and safety. You are amazing and thoughtful. All the best on your next journeys ...
Thank you so much! Obviously, we put a lot of consideration into keeping everyone safe. We hope to see the day when this is no longer a concern.
This is an amazing video, keep up!
Thank you 😊
What a great video! Nice shooting and filming and a very simple but suitable editing!

Glad you enjoyed it. The following episode will be even better 😎
Writing this comment in Shiraz. I'm also cycling in Iran ar this moment.
Great respect you keep cycling at 40C plus. It's so hot when I's heading to Yazd. I drank probably 9 to 10 litres of liquid a day. I's sweating faster than I could consume water.
Man i live near shiraz and today we hit 50C
Just trying to survive😂
Many locals go to the Qalat village to eacape the heat. A waterfall and forest in a desert like region is almost magical.@mschanandlerbongofficial

Thank you very much. We learned a bit about Cyrus when we visited Persepolis. What a massive empire he had built 🤯
Cool
😎
I am glad you focus around riding a bicycle and do not interfere in the politics of every country you are visited ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤👍👍
In that sense, almost everything can be interpreted as a political statement. Giving that notion to the free expression of opinion is, in many cases, a strategy to discredit what was said.
We are from countries with freedom of expression and free press, so not speaking our mind about anything openly at any time would feel very wrong to us.
To interfere with the politics of countries seems like a pretty wild thing to do.
We speak our mind freely, always. However, some people are not used (or not allowed) to it and might see this differently.
Thanks guys! It was really an amazing videodocumentation. I send you love and kisses❤
Thanks Arman 😊

Hallo! Just following your videos for a week. I should say I’m enjoying to see how you travel the world and especially the way you react to the people in Iran. Thank you so much 🫠
it seems you had your best time in Kurdistan. although I m not Kurdish
but had friends from that area
Kurds seem from another era
a time of happy iran
not totally covered with the dust of gloom and death.
Very well said. We absolutely loved our time in Kurdistan, but despite everything, we are thankful to have been able to see so much more of Iran. It was such a multifaceted experience!
Very nice .. iran beautiful
It is!
Persian is the official language of Iran spoken by 98% and the native tongue of 60% of the population ,spoken by practically everyone in Iran.
Its the largest linguistic group in Iran and the largest Iranic language ,about 80% of the country speak Iranian languages close to Persian and 18 % turkic , 2 Arabic and others include Armenian ( indo-European as Persian) and Assyrian. Source : all official accounts including UNITED NATIONS .
Oh we know that. What we meant was that from our route entering from Armenia, we crossed regions with a majority of Turkic and Kurdish speakers first. So, in that sense, Farsi is the third language for us in Iran. That is pretty impressive. Not many countries have so many different cultures and languages!
@@AmazingWorldBikeTour Iran is not an ethno-state like most european countries. It is like India an old civilization and empire by different ethnicities. And although In the Azari and Kudish region the local language is Azari and Kurdish butyou can do all your business in Persian as well. Also in the Persian areas that you mention there exist many local languages. As someone mentioned most of these languages are Indo-Iranian Languages, but some like Azari o Arabic are not.
Great journey! Would have been beautiful if Iranians could bike in Germany and get visa and get hosted and get help that easily 😃🤗
Hopefully we will see that day. However, Iranian hospitality is unmatched, at least in our experience 😅
Excellant video
Glad you liked it!
With nearly 90 million people in Iran there are many different political opinions. Beware the person who claims they can say what all Iranians think. Unfortunately society is very polarised.
Oh, we could clearly see that. But of course, everyone should be free to voice his or her opinion without fear.
@@Prime-val 50% voted in the round where Pezeshkian got a majority of the vote and even many of Ghalibaf supporters did too. Can you go in any street in the world and find people happy with their government?
Yes, That person should have said that's what over 95% of people think. Not all.
@@pashootan100 Including all those millions who just voted for Jalili and Ghalibaf? Delusional.
I was surprised when you exchaged 100 Euros and got big anount of Jranian Rial . Looks you can buy everything with 500 Euros . Super cheap and crazy place .
Stuff that is produced in Iran is mostly very cheap if you’re not Iranian, yes.
I dont who has chosen the musics of the videos, but they are just perfect.
Our Iranian friends did send us a lot of music for us to choose from 😉
I really like your videos. Im from Iran. About that translator woman in holy shrine of Qom, I have to say she is lying. they are religious and according to them non muslim bodies are forbidden to touch (najes) which means if they enter in mosques and religious places, muslims cant pray there. Yes, religious people see non muslim people like "unclean" en terms of religion. Thats why they dont let tourists enter in mosques where muslims pray. I think you should know about it. And of course, only 20% of iranian people are religious and think like, people who are in favour of government. As you have seen many iranian are not muslim and every year there are less muslims in Iran, especially young people.
Thanks for your explanation. That is pretty much in line with what we experienced.
Is there any chance you could either include some information about how you obtain the various visas in each segment, or do a video explaining the approach you took for your visas for the complete route?
We could totally do an episode on it eventually. However, that might take a while, as we are so badly behind with our videos anyways. So if you have a concrete question, feel free to ask!
@@AmazingWorldBikeTour No, nothing specific. I was just curious as to how you plan and execute visa applications, etc, on the move, especially with countries that have short windows.
We are so lucky to both have the German passport, which is among the strongest in the world. Iran was the first country where we needed a visa. We applied online through an agency (20$ per person extra) for the tourist e-visa and got it within a week or so.
Most countries have fairly generous visa exemption policies with Germany. However, we got a 60 days e-visa (including GBAO permit) for Tajikistan (direct no agency) which also took about one week, just to have more than the 30 free days in Tajikistan.
To be fair, for the most part we did not cross countries where visa are a major issue, at least for the German passport.
But of course, we usually have a general idea about the upcoming months, and check what is necessary. There are countries that are an absolute pain in the ass, or impossible (especially in Africa), but for us the most annoying visa to get was China. Also, the situation changes permanently. If we would start now, it would be easier, and we would take a different route...
@@AmazingWorldBikeTour Thank you. Very informative.

For your information Farsi is official language and first language in Iran. 👍❤️🇮🇷
We know that and said so in previous episodes. You seem to have a misunderstanding. On our route, Farsi is the third major language we encountered after Turkic and Kurdish. Of course, those people could also speak Farsi, but mainly spoke their respective local language.
@AmazingWorldBikeTour : to be honest I don't trust you you're so suspicious the thing you said in this video most of them was lie and propaganda from main Media 🤔🙄
That is a wild claim, but I am sure you have evidence to back that up.
I think you are increasing your health risks by going through some of the hottest parts of Iran during the peak summer months. Take as much water and emergency phone numbers with you. Alternatively, bypass these areas during hot months on air conditioned trains or buses.
Thanks, John. You are absolutely correct. You will see us suffer quite a bit in the upcoming episodes 😅
I am just worried that if you get dizzy or faint in the heat, because you are so close to speeding vehicles and those scary trucks and buses, they may not have enough time to stop in case you fall off your bikes unto the roadway. Please be safe. Iran is a very large country where you can have all the four seasons at the same time in different parts; choose the cooler parts in the summer and visit the hot parts in the winter months.
We appreciate your concern and promise to always be careful. Also, we obviously always look out for each other!
in exchanges you can ask they transfer your money to your gift card to not carry all of that money by hand. just give the card number to them and get transfer verification

So I want make sure that you two don't bother yourselves even a little bit about those comments about Iranians preferable religion or politics!
All of the sayings are wrong and right at the same time!
Yes, of course. We think talking openly about issues is the only way to find better ways. Obviously, this is very challenging, and sometimes people have difficulties staying respectful and on point.
Majority of iranians are muslim by id card! You cannot basically change religion in Iran! So your stats on 90% of Iranians being Muslim shia is false! This propagates the propaganda about Iranians being Islamists. Thank you for your great video!
After the so called Islamic Revolution of 1979, and coming face to face with the ugly realities of the repressive Islamic values, most Iranians have stopped to believe in this religion that has been forced upon the Iranians and as soon as Iranians get rid of this regime, they will officially renounce their affiliations with Islam as it has HUGE conflicts with the Iranian culture and values.
Of course. That is exactly what we were trying to say. We know that people have been executed in Iran for renouncing their belief publicly. 🙄
Musics on background are so amazing.
But it's better that you don't choose the Arabic ones.
Thank you. We try really hard to use as much music from the country as possible!
