I'll be the first to comment ..... His solos and Gutair is what made me buy the Dio albums .. and then when I seen him live with Dio back in the day... well he became my number 1 ....
I too think! But it was Siyes who wrote the entire album "Whitesnake '87" alone. Only one solo (Here I Go Again '87) was written by Vandemberg at Coverdale's request. I think Coverdale might have called on Campbell to write "Slip of the Tongue" alone, since Campbell replaced Sykes in the broadcast presentations and tour of the self titled 1987 album. But he eventually called Vandemberg to record on next album and invite Steve Vai as support of it. Coverdale is too unstable, too systematic. You'll understand the guy's head.
What he's playing here is nothing complicated but holy cow is it played smoothly.
Many can play this songs, not many can play it this smooth.

I wish that Kramer still made that purple nightswan because I want one
It's not the same Kramer you knew and loved back in the day, bro.
still wondering why Coverdale needed Vandenberg to play at Viv's side, that boy could have done it alone
I agree, I reckon Slip Of The Tongue would of turned out better if Coverdale and Campbell wrote the album
I too think!

This song has Sykes written all other it and so is the whole 87 album. But I have to say Viv played it really good

Is the neck that narrow or are his hands that big?
That's a very narrow neck, unique for his signature Nightswan.
Так и я могу, сыграй ка лучше "мурку"
