Ahh a good feel story in the news when the brewing industry is anything but booming

Quite. Everything is more challenging than ever at present in the brewing industry. Be nice if the BBC knew the difference between 'Real Ale' and everything else, while showing Dann taking a gravity sample from a NEIPA.

I guess the fact it can support 1800 different beers per year, means there is support and room for more. Let's hope the smaller breweries continue to eat into the 90% market share the macro shite have had for so long. If this (or any government) where to hold the growth of the nation at the centre of their manifesto, then invest in the breweries that keep the money on these shores instead of leaning the laws to those that whisk the money off to foreign climes !!! Great to see you in front of the camera mate - at last...

The report from the Uni (and the BBC) does somewhat misleadingly give the impression that all these ?58 breweries are booming, when several are on the verge of collapse.
I'm still not sure it's fair inflicting myself on viewers though ;-)

Having met you, you'll make a success of it I know - inflict away, you're a great orator - always more connection when you can see the eyes one thinks. @@MadeByMartyn
