There was one more note about why I started making these videos that I forgot to mention here, and that is I wanted to give people who may never make it out to Hollywood a chance to visit their favorite stars virtually.

Hollywood Graveyard speaking about themed specials, I wouldn't complain about watching one with old movie serial actors from serials like Captain Marvel/Shazam, Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers, the Green Hornet, Batman, and old radio and tv like the Lone Ranger, Adv. of Superman (radio and tv)
I believe you've already seen a few of these, but with Avengers Infinity War coming soon, you could do retro heroes!

The notion of death and graveyards was never on my agenda.
March 12 2019 I lost my mother and didn't handle it well. I never went to her grave as I
always wanted to remember her alive.
A couple of weeks later I braved a You Tube on Hollywood Graveyard and I kid you not...
I watch Hollywood Graveyard as therapy. Therapy to get my head around that graves are
not about doom and gloom or suffering...
graves are about celebrating life and appreciating the lives of people.
    Thankyou - Hollywood Graveyard.

Unbeknownst to many, the pinnacle of achievement is attained when a "behind-the-scenes" or documentary show is made. Such is the case with this video about Arthur Dark and Hollywood Graveyard. Arthur Dark has captured our hearts with his smooth and debonair style. His geniality and self-effacing attitude is always refreshing. And anyone who desires a peanut butter cup the size of a car tire is my kind of person! Thank you, Arthur, for your dedication to producing such excellent documentaries that we all love to watch and love to watch again, for the first time.

First, the videos are terrific. They are fascinating and very well made. You are a great narrator - great enunciation. Second, I had to chuckle when you'd never seen anything ghostly yourself, a subtle, faint ghostly hand emerged from a nearby crypt. Nice touch. Third, my question to you would have been: How welcoming are the cemeteries to your taping and to visiting celebrity graves in general? When I hired a car and driver to take me to Westwood Memorial Park several years ago groundskeepers told the driver he had to leave. I could walk around and visit, but the car couldn't stay because it was a "tour" vehicle (it wasn't; it was a car and driver). So he parked outside the grounds. Also, Forest Lawn Glendale will reportedly not identify celebrity graves if people ask, and they discourage "fans" from visiting. I can only imagine what they thought about videotaping.

Love your channel. Taseful, respectful and informative. My mother took us to cemeteries when we were small (I am 50), as her mother took her to their family cemetery in Germany. We had no family here, so those lying at rest became a sort of family to us. Many graves here in S.C. date to the Revolutionary War era. Still more Civil War era. I liked to believe that the souls who had no visitors were happy when we stopped by. You are doing more than you may ever realize with this wonderful channel. Thank you.

Let me just say, you and Giuseppe hit the the nail on the head when you teamed up after you shared the same brilliant idea of creating an app that helps you locate famous people's graves. You two are geniuses at what you do. I am obsessed with your videos. Before I knew about your channel, seeing memorials or hearing about a celebrity's death was always such a sad thing to me. But since I started watching your videos it is fascinating to be able to not only pay respect to a celebrity but also get to learn about their life as you give us a brief summary on what he or she was famous for. Always respectfully done, your way of speaking of the dead is never grim or depressing which is why I can literally sit and watch your videos for hours. I don't watch tv. UA-cam is my thing and your channel is a favorite of mine. Keep up the awesome work!👍👍

Terrific series mate. Credit to the huge amount of dedicated research and travelling involved to make your work. It gives fans the opportunity to see where their admired entertainers rest, and produces fresh recognition and respect to those that have otherwise slipped under the radar or been mis-forgot.

I believe I came across your videos earlier this year (2020). I love history and have always been fascinated by visiting graves. Thank you for sharing your awesome videos with us. I love the detail and research you put into every person's grave you visit. It's like you're giving me amazing history lessons. The beauty of the cemeteries are awesome as well. I find myself binge-watching your videos. Hopefully, we will see more new ones soon. Thank you for all you do. I'm a new fan.

I've really enjoyed watching H.G. I hope you will venture Elmont, New York to find the grave of my favorite actor Martin Landau. I think he'll be best remembered of his role in Mission Impossible but to me he's best remembered as Commander John Koenig in Space:1999. A 2 season tv series I enjoyed when I was growing up. Still watch the show to this day. Thank-you.

Thank you so much for doing this. My family for generations loves to go to Graveyards. We would never be able to go to all of these locations. I really love the way you show their pictures and share their stories. I love that its done in a very tasteful and historical ways. I have shared this site with both of my children and my husband. They enjoy it as well. Thank you, again for doing this.

Your videos are very well done and it shows in every episode. I like it that you include stars from the Silent Era as they are all but forgotten by many people today. Thanks, Arthur, keep on with the good work, sir.

When looking at future "theme" episodes.... How about different music themed? Country? Rock? Rap?
