Yes, roof leaks are common. I'm not sure that any cars that haven't been tweaked wouldn't have roof leaks. The fixes depend on whether the car is a targa or a canvas topped car. One major fix is around the wing mirror area. You'll need to find the fixes that your particular car needs. Keeping the seals clean and treated with silicone is important.
