This was a great episode. In an interview Peter Falk said him and Martin Landeau couldn’t stop laughing during the Chef show.
Electrifying performance from Columbo!
Shockingly good🔌
Julie Newmar and Dabney Coleman from this episode still alive and in their 90s.
I wish that this clip included Dabney Coleman’s line: “Okay, gents.” for when they took the twins away. Because that’s a great line for a policeman making the arrest.
The legend himself, Martin Landau❤
Yeh he was brilliant as Bela Lugosi in Ed Wood
But who was the other twin played by?
More more can we have a full episode please
Columbo always gets his man or woman
Or men!
. . . or non-gender specifics.
Very good of Maya to turn up to try and help Commander Koenig out of this difficult situation.
This one of my favorites, but Julie Newmars character disturbs me
It's just how she is.
THE thing about Colombo: Never let it dictate to you. Never!
Martin Landau!
. . . and his identical twin.
The cuts between the two brothers were seamless. Expertly done, they were. It's just a pity the double looked nothing really like Martin Landau from either the side or back. All proportions were off. They should've paid more attention to that. An otherwise excellent episode, given the outlandish premise. Jeanette Nolan was superb.
Columbo catches twins in action.
Mrs Peck is one of the best Columbo characters, absolutely hilarious.
Leeeeverage. That always catches my ear to hear that pronunciation.
This is still epic ❤
In addition to the murder, the other crime is someone must have paid-off the building inspector or the electrical contractor when they built that house. How else could a standard electrical outlet have been installed at the bath tub?
Bingo.
In reality, an extension cord to a distant receptacle would've been required.
Every receptacle near by water requires GFCI treatment.
@@davidhimmelsbach557... nowadays. Not then.
Gotta check out some houses built in the 40s-60s. They wouldn't pass today
They stopped putting standard electricity outlets so close to baths after this episode was originally aired.
You clearly haven't spent time in very old houses. This was common well into the 1960's.
Love columbo ❤❤❤
I know Martin Landeau played one of the identical twins, but who played the other?
This goes in the file of "idiot murderer admits it after Columbo speech". However, his twin brother is smarter and tells him to STFU.
Love Colombo
Which one had Jamie Lee Curtis?
The Bye-Bye Sky High I.Q. Murder Case.
😊😊WoW Inteligent man 😊😊
Martin Landau impeccably made us believe (and continues to do so with each viewing) that there were two distinct characters. Total suspension if disbelief. I have to remind myself he’s not really a twin.
Great scene, but why keep reposting it!
Well, I think we've run out of Columbo content, so we're reliving the greatest hits!
Columbo is really good at finding clues into murderers! he is like a dog with a bone when he suspects someone has murdered someone !
That's why they play the tune.......Nick Nack Paddywack, give the dog a bone.
Just an ok episode, a bit boring. The cooking scene is the worst and I always hope I miss it if I catch it on tv but nope, there it is. I take a bathroom break.
One of my favorites episodes, the twins used to be frightening to me.
Martin Landau was very well cast for this one.
@mikebasil4832 also his identical twin.
