I was one of the recruits in ears open, eyeballs click. Plt. 1141. SDI Staff Sergeant Nichols was a motivator. Nichols and his DI's were hard Corps and going through that was the foundation that got me through 2 tours in Iraq, including Fallujah, Iraq 2nd push: Operation Phantom Fury. Kill!
💪💪
Me too. One shot one kill ready to die but never will.
🙏🙏
How is it that your platoon in MCRD went through in 06 yet you say you were in Phantom Fury. Am I missing something?
@FormerVicePresidentDickVeiny I went to boot camp in 2002. Fallujah in 2004
He’s being too humble. This dude is a badass
🔥To The Past. The Present. The Future! - The Marines! OOHRAH🔥
OORAH!!!!
💪💪
Rah. We spoke once on Facebook almost a full 10 years ago and I think you were talking about a book and the movies coming out. I was about 14 or 15 at the time. I’m 26 now and I still watch those clips, I had EOEC on one of my hard drives and those are tied with one other UA-cam video I’ve seen for most realistic portrayal of USMC Bootcamp.
Thank you very much for your service! And happy memorial day sir!🇺🇲
THANK YOU BROTHER
Thank you 😊🕶️
Awesome interview. I worked with 1st Sgt Crouch that worked with Nichols. Good man.

Great content. Keep it comin
Thank u so much brother
🔥OOHRAH🔥
I worked with Daniel Tompkins, who was a Charlie Co hat in the same time frame. Greatest dude I've ever worked for. He had great stories from the drill field around this Era, and just hands down one of the greatest leaders I've ever known.
Hell yeah. Love to hear it
I have talked to ssgt Nichols he is a very nice guy
Absolutely. A great guest as well
All glory to god. What an absolute warrior.

Hey thank u so much. I truly appreciate thst
Be neither too humble or too proud. The whole nation expects the Drill instructor to instill the esprit d'corps into the the recruits so they can keep the nation's honor as well as their own clean. They expect the Marines to live up to their reputation as Rightly Proud and Justly Famous United States Marines .Semper Fidelis SSsgt Nichols .
Amen ✝️
This man is a god!!!
He def great people
Nichols was my best drill instructor! I knew right away from day one during our drill instructor indoc that this guy was special! It makes me immensely happy he is still out there contributing and doing great things!
Yes sir. Big facts
I swear I knew that there were some allegations floating around at the time of that movie. I even hit his inbox looking for information about bootcamp. I was just a kid that wanted to know what happened behind the scenes. The SSgt never keyed me in to what I was in for but looking back, why should he? There was a lot on the line and there’s still a lot on the line for DIs.
Big facts
He’s being too humble. This man is a bad dude
Facts my guy. Very true
Eyeballs... Snap Sir!
I'm pretty impressed with Nichols
He is mad cool
Been there! The new hat trap, trying to be like others instead of yourself.
I feel that
New Hat Trap. Never heard it called that but yes, exactly! OOHRAH
I learned the same. Had to learn my own way and how I had to be my own hat. My 1st couple cycles was trying to be just like others.
Happens all too often
He was a motivator, he cared greatly about his recruits. So were most of his di’s. 44 allegations against him? In all of his movies I never once saw anything worth the thought of an allegation.
We got the hell beaten out of us.
JUST LOVE ...THE LOVE...JESUS SAVES!
“Ears open”!! Eyes sir!!
Yessir
YEP
CHAR-LITES!
What were those 44 allegations against him about?! 😢
Gotta ask him my friend. Lol
What happened to the dehydrated guy?
I know right!! I’ll tell u why your dehydrated cause u didn’t drink enough WATER!!!!!
But what happened to the savage SDI Sandercock
He did his time in the Drill Field went back to the fleet and retired as a First Sergeant
@@zach8969 yup Hes a JROTC instructor now days. Sandercock was a beast
I try to tell these UA-cam people who watch these boot camp videos, what you're seeing is what happens, what you don't see is the Co etc...standing behind the camera, so basically, you're watching the water down version of what REALLY happens.
1st Battalion Delta Co. PI 1997
1 tour to Iraq in 98
Honorably discharged in 2001
Big facts brother. SOOO many other possibilities. Lol
@@Veteran_Influencers I can tell what happened with my black Friday experience and what really happened, but UA-cam would probably ban me lol. For you young people saying military can't put hands on you, I'm staring right at you, and yes, I'm rolling my eyes.
@@GenX_US_Marine 😂😂😂😂
God is imagined. This guys still believes in fairy tales.
Only to u is God imagined because he hasn’t called you, u can’t come to Christ except God the Father draws you so there ya go man
@@ThemantleofElijah the guy got in trouble on the drill field, he then went Jesus because he got scared. Bottom line.
