Can someone explain to me about the whole Northern Ireland and the Union Jack that Dave was talking about? Is NI trying to reunify with Ireland? If that happens, there will no longer be a United Kingdom, right? And they will have to make a new flag? Thanks!
Jake: we have two separate taps, one for hot water one for cold water Sujan: how do you shower Jake: we dont shower in the sink HAHHAHAHAHHAHA IM DONE THANKYOU FOR THIS ENTERTAINING AND EDUCATIONAL VIDEO
I live in the UK and I have hot and cold taps for my bath and shower however they have a mix spout in the middle. So you have to run the hot water until its hot then add in the cold little by little until it feels right then switch it to the shower head and hope you got it right!
I can't get over the two taps thing in the UK, its seriously ineffective. I've burned myself so many times turning on the hot tap accidentally when washing my dishes ghgh. And lets not talk about how heavy the fire doors are !!!
The old lady in the window is literally so true they just stare at everything that is moving Loved the video because it shows the cultural differences in a very entertaining way
People may don't know it but even if Germans love to be on time the German trains are mostly like 1-4 hours too late XD. We even make jokes about that XD
But.... we have the Weihnachtsmann :O Isn't that the same as santa claus? I guess it differs from what region you live in Germany. When I was a child there was always a big old man bringing the presents :D

Thank you for making this video so long, Dave! I always think your videos are too short and want them to go on for longer. I enjoyed every second of this one. The personalities in this were all great and they bounced off each other nicely.
I didn't know that in China they do the "siesta" too! (A Spanish "concept" to rest after the lunch too, between 20 min. and 1-2 hours, depends of the person, but for everyone, not just students or in the academic enviroment xD). Like :)
Scorpin7 I think it’s great that a break like that exists. The only thing I dislike about it though is the fact that sleeping after eating is really bad for the body.
@@xLoveeAnimalsx Yes... That's one of the "bad things" about it, we have more overweight problems and things like that I think, but well.. You can't have everything... xD
Also allowed to read a book if you do not want to sleep. I think it's from some old remarks of Mao that people liked so they decided to adopt them in schools.
Actually most jobs have this too. It's an hour and a half to two hour "lunch" break. Many people will often go home or meet with friends and chat before heading back to work or school.
Ye it was kind of refreshing seeing someone from the North of England for once cos whenever i see videos like this it tends to be people from down South, not that i have anything against that it's i relate more with people from the North in terms of like slang/dialect and stuff lol
Most people nowadays tell their Kids about Santa...the Christkind is mostly known in the catholic Areas around Germany...like Bavaria for example. It depends where you come from and which story your parents know the best ;) My parents told me about the Christkind and the parents of my neighbor told her about Santa. So Santa and the Christkind shared a Street *lol* Btw Santa in Germany is "Der Weihnachtsmann" and if it's translated in English: The Christmasman...so Santa sounds much cooler ;)
Concerning the discussion about the "Christkind"🎅: It really depends on the region you're living in (South or North Germany) and if you are catholic or protestant. ;) Luther introduced the idea of a "Christkind" whereas in the catholic tradition I think St. Nikolaus is more important. (Verbessert mich falls ich falsch liege.) Later the idea of Santa Clause was introduced though we call him "Weihnachtsmann" (literally "Christmas-man") Nowadays it's not so easy to distinguish between those traditions. One catholic friend of mine believed in the "Christkind" as a child whereas I being a protestant was never taught about any of that so... Yeah... Whoever made it this far without falling asleep: Congratulations! And I really loved the video! 😂💕
