Apparently, languages that use harsh accents or pronunciation is easier for them rather than softer ones like japanese. The main reason is that their own language has a harsh pronunciation. Is what i was told by my friend.

1 year too late 😔 but for mongolians it's like a norm to know atleast 2-3 languages (probably mongolian, russian and english) so I guess mongolians have good hearing ,which makes it easier to pronounce different words from different languages even if we never heard it before ,but for some reason korean seems to be one of the easiest languages to learn..like am I the only one? I am learning korean rn and I actually learnt the alphabet in 2 days. So far I know Mongolian, Russian, English, Korean and started learning Japanese. I am still in highschool so I got a long way and if I actually mention this to anyone around here they act like it's no big deal 😂
Conclusion: if you go to Mongolia, it's likely that atleast a couple of people around you will understand you because for some reason they pick up on languages very fast-

lol first time im hearing something like this about russia.
in russia never ever will someone step on someone's feet FOUR times in response! most likely, angelina said this only because in the area where she grew up it was custom to do so. local shit exists everywhere. but in reality, only children (and some teenagers) usually do something like this. for example, if they step on someone's foot, they say "step on mine" (ONE! time). they think it'll make them even. neither the capital, nor in other russian cities i've never seen somebody stepping on someone`s foot 4 times. people either don't notice they've squashed your snow-white sneakers, or they say "oops" and move on, or they say "sorry" in a hurry. again, everything depends on people, some dont care, some sincerely apologize.

In other words Mongolian people(including me) would take the wallet for themselves without a second thought(well if i see someone drop their wallet, i'd give it to them, but if i cant locate the owner, its a free real estate).

Actually I didn't even know that 90 was 80+10. But yeh I understand that if you explain it that way (90 = 80+10) it would be difficult to anyone.

I really love watching your videos !!
In Mongolia, we also favour odd numbers more. For example: 1. When as Ms.Angelina said when giving a bouquet of flowers we always make sure that they’re an odd number.
    2. During Tsagaan sar or Lunar New Year, we prepare a sort of tower with “Heviin boov” or “”Shoe sole cake” and depending on age of the most elderly who lives there , the stack 7,5 or 3. (There are more rules regarding this holiday that I haven’t mentioned as well.)
    3. When Ms.Sooah said that when we spill milk, we usually dip our ring finger on the spilled milk and touch our forehead as a way to show respect to the milk (one of the most worshipped product). Or, when making a toast for a celebration we also make the same gesture. And, when you drop your keys, you step on them three times before picking them up.
At 11:19, Ms.Angelina mentions that in Russia, people rub alcohol on their children to warm them up. We also have that but, it’s when the child has a fever (especially a very high fever) and rubbing Vodka on them is seen as a kind of disinfecting the bacterias on the child’s body which could be making them sick.
Thank you for reading until the end ^~^ 🇲🇳

In Belgium, when you're learning French in primary school you do use 'nonante' for 90. Though, when you enter secondary school, they try to teach you how to count the proper way. We also have some similarities with France, for example the animals! For us it's more in bars, but here you can also ask for water (or even food) for your dog.

To be honest, I've never seen a restaurant (a proper one, I mean, not cafés or bars where you can eat) that accepts animals in France, so I'm really doubting on this info... Same with the ketchup info. But I don't really know the school rules and, when I was at school, I never questionned if there was ketchup or not because we were eating things that didn't need ketchup, so...

kazuha77 Yeah, I was questioning the ketchup part too lmao. Maybe it was just the schools around where he lived? In Belgium we just put ketchup on a lot of things hahha so I can't relate. Also, I've never seen food or water for animals in restaurants here, but like I said at bars, they do give it if you ask for it! I'm not going to say I don't believe it though because I've never stepped foot in a restaurant in France. Haha
I thought the video was fun though, I love that he's putting other nationalities in here. Hopefully, a Dutch person will be in there too some day hahha

@@lukacornelis8565 I don't really know but I have to admit that (if I remember correctly) we don't have access to ketchup for lunch. So it is probably a rule that I wasn't aware of xD As for restaurants, I'm pretty sure animals are not allowed. I think animals are allowed only if it is an open space, like a terrace, so motsly bars and cafes. And yes, you can ask for water for the animal.
Apart from that, I also love the video ! It's always interesting to learn new things from countries you're not familiar to.

@@kazuha77 As a French people, pet are not allowed in restaurant, isn't normal if they do. But the ketchup probation is 100% true. At schools they don't give you ketchup or mayonnaise, no sauce except the meat's sauce. Now I think it's a really good thing because children always like and abuse of ketchup. So no ketchup, the meals are good for the wealth but don't have a good taste.

kazuha77 That's so interesting though? I mean, most Belgian schools don't give sauce anyways as a lot of them don't really have a 'cafeteria' (not sure it's the same for France). But that ketchup is prohibited is such a strange but kind of a good rule??

In Romania we kinda have a few of those similar to what you said. Here, when a baby boy is 1 year old they tie his hair with ribbon and cut the top off (not entirely shaving his head), and the girls are made a special kind of bread which is tore above their heads.
Also it is a known remedy to get an alcohol rub when you have a stubborn cold or fever. Also, when kids get a cold the parents will soak their socks in vinegar.
The "hot mustard pack" remided me of the honey treatment I used to get. When having a cold you put honey on your back and chest, then put a plastic foil over it and keep it over the night.
Oh, and about jinxing the babies, we do have some variation here that is not entirely limited to babies. It is said that if someone armires you or complimets you too much you'll get sick, so to avoid that you must either wear something red or have the other person spit 3 times. It's called "deochi" in romanian and to get rid of it's bad effects your mother or grandmother will say a prayer or a certain "spell" ( not really a spell but I can't find a word for it, more like a chanting) while rubbing your forehead.
Phew, this got really long but hope you'll find some of it interesting.
