It’s a 3-3-5 dime package, cover 1 robber press qb spy with a 2 high shell look. In an empty set, Oregon should have checked to a wr screen and HOPED that a db misses
Great video I loved it. Big Thumbs up The linguist in me had to mention though. Mandarin is actually the easiest to read of the Chinese dialects. That's why the written system is called Simplified Chinese. Now if it was Cantonese, that's the tough one.
Wow so basically they took Gabriel’s best asset and turned it against him. When he wasn’t deciding quick enough, he payed for it by playing behind the sticks on late downs. If he did make quick decisions, they were more likely to be wrong because of what looks like a disguised look within another disguised look.
Who did you say is the best defensive player in the country? Heard you say it but was just listening while driving and not able to see who you were referring to.
I don’t understand what 2 deep shell has anything to do with man or zone. It could be cover 2 or 2 man under. They showed 2 man under and post snap it was just cover 1.
2 deep shell usually suggests cover 2 zone. But not in a 3-3-5 dime package that OSU was in. You’re most likely expecting a 2 high shell cover 2 man from this package. Jared explains that the center of the field should in theory be open. But since OSU rotated their safety down to a “robber zone” (middle of the field zone between the hashes), there’s now an unaccounted for defensive player who can undercut any middle crossing routes ie deep crossers, slants, curls, Texas routes. The full defensive call was: 3-3-5 dime show 2 cover 1 man robber press qb spy. Hope this helps :)
Great breakdown man, this has me convinced Jim Knowles is a genius
“… Defense is harder to read than Mandarin Chinese.” That is a CRAZY title💀
If slightly racist. Mandarin Chinese is pretty easy to read if you are Chinese. :)
Great analysis (and title)! Thank you and keep 'em coming!
Yes, I agree with last comment. Most film vids I pause and rewind to follow or make sense of the analysis. I follow yours quiet easily. Well done!
Great analysis. Im starting to like your videos
thank you! lots more coming especially for the NFL Draft
You do a great job describing coverages. Interesting to watch.

Tez ate us alive with double moves in the first game; not so much the 2nd time around. :)

The mlb job is actually spying the qb instead of being in coverage

He said Caleb Downs

it was cover 1 robber (downs) which was the disguise that tripped up dillon gabriel
