      @@DrRowe Hi, I keep getting this feeling when I lift up my left leg (particularly behind me) like something wants to crack behind my glut, but despite some of my best efforts, I haven't been able to crack it. I thought it was my hip joint, but I so far haven't been able to crack that. And then I thought it was my SI joint, but when I did it, it cracked in a different place than I thought it was. Do you know what it could be?

    Humble suggestion-have a handy anatomical chart and point at the area you are naming. Many of us? (Me!) aren’t always certain of the medical name of the area that bothers us…but I DO know WHERE the pain is. Just a suggestion. I appreciate your videos! 🌷

    • @HouseofStaci
      @HouseofStaci 2 роки тому +48

      No no - not an anatomy lesson. A poster hanging on the wall that is simply an anatomical graphic of the human body and maybe u point to the area. if you take the time to show the exercises, show us the area on an anatomical chart that’s hanging on the wall. I get it. You don’t have time for that. It was just a suggestion. Not a demand!

    I can’t believe something so simple took all of my pain away. I’ve been dealing with lower back pain for a few months. Stretching or contorting my body never did the trick. I would take a 650mg pain killer every night to help me get a little better sleep. Well I did this two days ago and I have been pain free ever since. I never heard the popping sound when I did it but it felt good so I did it several times. It’s still a little tender and sore. I’m hoping it’s because it’s been so tight for so long. Much appreciated!

    Dr. Rowe, I use this exercise a lot, and it always gives me relief; however, I never hear or feel a pop. My understanding is that the popping or cracking sound is the release of air in the synovial fluid surrounding the joint(s). (Similar to knuckles or knees cracking.) I thought it would be helpful for people to know that their joints can move back into place without a sound occurring. Do you agree? I can’t thank you enough for the relief this exercise gives me!

    I discovered this technique by riding motorcycles. I scrubbed my tank with my knees and it popped. I have found several ways to reproduce this technique because of that day. Lol

    I feel like I could use a chiropractic adjustment. However, I'm hesitant to hire a chiropractor, as I know two different people who have been hospitalized from torn arteries in the neck caused by a chiropractor twisting their neck. How do I find a safe practitioner? Can I request a chiropractor not to touch my neck/head?

    • @randomvielleuse527
      @randomvielleuse527 2 роки тому +4

      Search for "activator chiropractic near me" and see who comes up. Then, read the reviews and vet them for realism! Or, consider atlas orthogonal chiropractic. That is all about the atlas joint (top of spine where it connects to the skull) and it's done using an extremely gentle burst of energy that you can barely feel at all. No twisting or danger of damage. Both of these techniques work super well and involve no twisting or danger. And a good doctor or health care person will absolutely listen to you if you don't want your head or neck involved at all. If they don't listen, just walk out. Good luck!

      Never, ever let anyone manually twist your neck. The activator that may chiros use now is amazing.

    Tip: Many people when told to correct their posture actually curve it inwards rather than straightening it. To get a properly straight spine shape, pretend there's something balanced on your head that you're pushing upwards against. Or, actually put something on your head. lol.
