Whilst I like the quality of the bag and how easy it is to wear as a cross over bag whilst traveling with the bike folded. However whilst the bikes come in some lovely colours I do feel that the colour range of the Brompton bags are reminiscent of old mens choices without consideration of the female market! personally I am looking at the Valeria's range which come in a multitude of different colours and prints.... I needed to find the serial number of my battery so removed it from the bag complete with the frame. It was one heck of a job. Then I couldn’t read the numbers properly as they were obscured by the frame. I then put eveything back , another difficult job. I had not realised until I watched this vid that the battery came out by itself a dead easy job ….. doh! Thanks for a very helpful video.

The bad news is that I have an issue that I think might be beyond even your immense knowledge and experience. And it is this: I often want to do a short trip to a local shop, and sometimes its nice to get a bit of exercise and leave the power off. As we know, the brompton electric rides well enough to make decent progress without using the electric assistance, unlike a lot of electric bikes. But on those occasions, it would be great to be able to mount a bag on the front that doesn't have a battery taking up valuable shopping space. But of course, it is the battery itself that attaches to the bike, so if you take out the battery, you can no longer attach the bag to the bike. So my question is this - does anyone make a bag that has no battery in it, but that does (somehow) have the latch and locking mechanism from the battery, that would allow it to be attached to a brompton electric? This is very much a first world and occasional issue, but if anyone knows of such a product it would be you. And if such a thing could indeed be manufactured, but only at a cost of a squillion pounds per unit, then I fear it will have a very small market. So I'm not optimistic, but I had to at least ask.
A decently made bike bag that is going to sit on the front of your back and have a battery in it should be waterproof from the off and not need a cover! I would like to see a collaboration with a company like Chrome Industries..

I'd love for Brompton to make a slightly larger City bag. I'd like to have room for a jacket, the sandwich, spare tire, small book, and other sundries.
Great video as usual! I tend to give a bit of slack to the USB cable when I put the battery back in, otherwise I forget it's there and next time I try to remove it the cable resists and I wonder why it won't come out haha.
The setup I like the most for now is the small bag with the battery and a backpack. My second choice is to add a Vincita NASH bag that clips on the rack (downside : no more folding the bike to stand). Coming third is the large city bag, just because my backpack is organized and I hate to change all my stuff in another bag. Last option is the large city bag, backpack AND the Vincita bag, but it makes a lot to carry around if I can't leave them on the bike. So I have a solution for most scenarios.
Yes. It really improves how the bag connects onto the front carrier block. They still should be changed over free of charge by your local Brompton electric dealer
I bought a B75 before COVID and added an electric kit to it that drives the front wheel. Total cost was about £1300 which is less than half the price of the official Brompton electric. Of course the official bike is a little more elegant as I have an HL type battery behind the front stem. This doesn't affect the fold except additional weight. But most importantly my luggage block is freed for a much higher capacity Borough bag.
I thought the smaller bag was known as the "Small Bag" and not as a "Small City Bag" and the larger one as the "City Bag"? I am also surprised that the bottle of wine is still full, hic........
