    Video Description
Video on how to Enable NAT on Windows Server 2008 R2. This video covers how to enable Network Address Translation (NAT) on Windows Server 2008 R2. A Windows Server can take the role of a traditional LAN router, but can also perform NAT services for clients on a private local area network (LAN). To configure Windows Server as a NAT router, enable the Routing and Remote Access Service.

Just what I needed to get network access for a linux vm running under hyper-v :) Setting up a port forwarding was easy. Thanks!

    Brilliant tutorial !
Could really benefit from a tutorial that would show
    (1) Setting up a site-to-site VPN using Windows Server 2012 R2 at the HQ and maybe an open source VPN Server in the remote location. From the remote location the wired devices should be able to logon to the remote Windows AD Domain.
    (2) Roaming mobile devices connecting to one of the VPN Servers and being able to log into the Windows AD Domain
For example, in the scenario below, would port forwarding need to be setup on the linksys Router to forward all VPN traffic to the Windows Server(VPN) ?
Hard-wired ethernet PCs ---> Windows Server AD(VPN) ------------> Linksys Router ( Linksys Router OR PFSense OR OpenVPN Server )

I’ve no idea since that was 8 years ago. But looking back now that I’m more mature, it would seem not.
I wonder what I was trying to do 🤔

@@CallumAtwal yea sorry about the 8years later comment. I’m back and I really wanted to ensure I addressed any comments that were left unanswered in hopes to help others.
      Sorry I didn’t help 8 years ago.

@@itgeared oh no sorry I didn’t mean it in a rude/blunt way. I was more intrigued what my 16 year old self was doing 😂
Nice one addressing all the comments, hope you are doing well!
