      Exactly, all these dumb kids think that Mahomes and the Chiefs got a better offense just simply because Mahomes throws it deep every time and it magically gets caught, well in today’s weak ass era he and the Chiefs can get away with that because one, the defensive talent pool straight up sucks now, there aren’t great defensive backs in today’s era especially compared to the ones 10 years ago, two, you can’t touch receivers nowadays, three, even tho it’s football and its a contact sport you can’t truck or even hit stick someone anymore or you’ll get ejected, 10 years ago those type of plays were still allowed, it all ended towards the late late 2010’s like 2018 or 2019 and and now it’s just gone overboard with last year’s Super Bowl being the cherry on top of the league not allowing defenses to simply play all out defense, defensive players can’t play with heart anymore because the league won’t let them. Last year’s Super Bowl was a prime example, I mean cmon you call that a Super Bowl, ha that’s what I call an offense only Bowl. Also Eagles should’ve won but again the league wants the best offense to win so robbed the Eagles but whatever. I feel like Super Bowl 53 is the last game of this now soft era of football where we will see 1990’s and early 2000’s defense being put on full display, there were big hits that the refs allowed which is cool because that’s what we want as viewers plus big hits tends to hype up a team and lift their spirits even more and great defensive stops in that Super Bowl too, but ofc the Brady haters have everyone saying that Super Bowl 53 was boring, tjose are the people that don’t appreciate the fundamentals, the heart nd passion, and the defensive performance of the game of football.

    Looking back at it when I was a big hater of NE, now, I simply respect them. People talk a lot about that 2007 Patriots offense, but this offense in 2012 was just about up there as well. From like 2010-2012, it was mind blowing with how efficient they were offensively even though they didn't win the super bowl during those years.

      2012 is probably Brady's most under-appreciated season. He was about the most efficient quarterback that year with great volume stats as well, yet he didn't even get a 2nd team All-Pro because his team lead the lead in rushing touchdowns since Brady didn't pad at the goalline. People kind of undersell Brady's greatness when they tie his legacy to his longevity (which is incredible and deserves to be praised) since it ignores just how good his prime was back during 2007-2012.

    • @ATTACKERGAMING
      @ATTACKERGAMING Рік тому +4

      @@mariosnum1fan The difference is two points per game, so it's actually pretty close. But the thing is the 07 offense had the least amount of offensive drives in the NFL that year, so they ware more efficient in points per drive. Also in 07 Brady missed out on a lot of playing time because they would just blow teams out, their average margin of victory was 20 points. So on average they would win by 3 touchdowns, so a lot of 4th quarters missed by Brady. But still this 2012 is the 5th best offense of all time in terms of points per game and its extremely underrated

    Obviously a lot of folks will make a big deal of this. But the purpose was supposed to be a team-bonding thing. Sure, it was against the wrong opponent who took it personally. At that time, the Texans were seen as a threat to take the AFC crown that season after what happened in 2011. They thought they could match up well with New England and it was expected to be a good game going in. As we all know, that didn't happen and the Pats made easy work of the Texans. That loss kind of sent the Texans into a tailspin to where they barely won the wild card game. The early 2010's Texans teams had potential to reach the Super Bowl. They just didn't have the it factor that you need. Hopefully that comes in the near future.

    Hernandez would have easily been a Hall of Famer, the offense with he and Gronk is the best Pats offense of all time. Yes, even better than 2007 with Moss

      @@thedevilsrockstxr2309 With the 2 tight end set up, they were unpredictable because they were just as dangerous running as they were passing. If you put linebackers to stop the run, they couldn’t cover gronk or hernandez. If you put DBs on them, you could run all day because gronk was like an offensive lineman. 2007 was throwing to welker and moss predictably, required welker and brady to take too much damage, and wasn’t sustainable. That’s why it lasted only one year, and cost brady his ACL holding the ball too long to throw deep to Moss. The 2 tight end set was #1 in offense 2 years in a row, lost a super bowl last second to Eli just like 2007, then lost in the AFC title game because gronk was out for the season
