Who is this man?! How are none of my professors in med school 1/10 as good at explaining embryology as this??? Very impressed with this tutorial.

I always hated embryology the most, random tubes and cell layers, never understood it until now.
You Sir, are the professor every student wishes to have, excellent explanation. Thank you so much.

My medical course is heavily self-directed and it essentially requires all students to learn the underlying concepts of science by themselves. Now unlike physiology (which I studied in my undergrad), never even took a single module in embryology. As a 'newcomer' to the subject, I am thankful for this video. Impressed with how much work has been put in this!

      +remusomega That's a normal thing in egypt.
      7 years uni
      1 year army
3 for completely useless but mandatory reasons
      3 for masters
      3 for Phd.
That's about 17 years. Not to mention the seminars and travelling and stuff so it takes quite a bit to become a doctor here

I'm so glad that this video got recommended to me right when I was about to start crying because I wasn't able to understand how the embryonic folding happens ,along with the formation of neural tube ,like I wasn't able to just understand all of that from book in 2D form but the way you presented everything so accurately in 3D form is just mind blowing,i wish i could have thanked you in person, thank you so much,i have no words to describe how grateful i am right now ❤

Developmental biology is a subject wherein very few resources re available to actually understand the concept. On top of that, the imagination part of the subject complicates things all the more.
I am preparing for CSIR NET with developmental biology s the important unit. I was literally struggling with the concepts- not so much with definitions but things like formation of 3 layers, gastrulation etc
Your video has truly proved a godsend and has helped me to grasp the most challenging concepts of this subject.
    Truly, thank you.

The explanation wrt the formation of the gut tube and mesentry and the coelomic cavities and body wall from the mesoderm was brillaint. An extremely difficult concept to visualize and to include what happens to the amniotic cavity was brilliant. The next difficult concept for me was the amnitic cavity in relationship to the Chorionic cavity and the fusion of the amnion and chorion with the formation of the umbilical cord and vessels. Once you have all these concepts in place the organogenesis and especially the arrangement of the organs in the body follows naturally. Without these concepts it is all trying to remember from rote and not from understanding. Thank you for excellent video. Simplicity is the basis of brilliance !
